Thanks. As for why she seems so different from your story, since it is technically before the events of 'Knights of the Everfree', there's a good bit for me to work upon before showing off a few things about her full personality.
Huzzah for a new chapter! Not exactly the best, but I'm slowly working on adding more personality into it. I'm used to dialogue-heavy stories, so bear with my minor quirk...I know a lot of people don't enjoy dialogue, but to me it can be an amazing way to add characterization when it is sorely lacking.

Great prologue. It gives a good setup of Little Gear's struggles from her perspective. Any chance on there being more development between her and Snow? It was kinda left hanging :P
