Some questions and answers about the direction of the story.
How many more humans will there be?
At least two. I have been considering adding three more, to a total of five humans. I already know the nationality for which two will be added for sure, while Human No. 5 may not 'exist' so to speak, the nationality has been decided.
What type of tanks will you use?
Medium tanks from WW2. So T-34 or Cromwell. NO Tigers or IS-3s or Churchills etc.
You should totally add *Insert a tank that meets none of the criteria above* Examples may be M1 Abrams, Challenger or Tigers So in other words, NO MODERN OR COLD WAR TANKS
Limit one human per country
I'm not bitching but I have already mentioned the first two questions in Author's Note throughout the story.
I know I've never taken the time to comment on anyone's page saying thanks to favoriteing (favoriting?) this story. But thanks to everyone. In fact, only July 25th, I broke 500 views. Barely but still.

Too many HiE's that have added a new H later in the story turned to shit, so I no longer trust stories that pull this card.

I feel that all tanks chosen should be comparative to the 'easy 8' our main guy has, that way nobody tries to push him out with superior fire (or so and create more story for the future)

7429846 I think the only reason to have a heavier tank is if something happens to the Easy 8 and our guy Dan upgrades. However the case I love this cause I'm a tank guy, love them and am glad to see a story with tanks in it that isn't about killing everyone.
Author, if I may add (positively biased)comment, then I suggest Stug III. As for the nationality, the tank would be driven by someone from Finland.
The reasons I keep spamming that tank is because of the dynamics it would offer to the battlegroup that you are preparing. One machine that demands clever thinking to be effective could be used as pont of dialogue between soon to be characters.
This way you could also describe why Easy 8 performs so well in all conditions, but excells at only so much.
Whatever you decide, I will be happy to read how this story develops, as well as these characters.
Question, In WW2 did the Japanese have any tanks?

Yes, however they had very little armor, even the 37mm of a M3 Stuart could penetrate it. Most of their steel was going to the navy. Tank vs. Tank was rare in the Pacific theater due to the thick jungles
If you wanted to use a Japanese tank, you could use the Chi Nu. It was designed to counter Sherman tanks. There were only 100-200 of them built, but it is better than most other Japanese WW2 tanks.

M13 Italiatank classifies as a light tank but borders one a medium. Just a suggestion the tank sucks I know but give it a good crew and boom
Are you planning on using only light to heavy tanks or are you planning on adding tank destroyers and artillery tanks? Cause if you are I suggest the Russian SU-5, if not then I say the french AMX ELC (I might be wrong with the placement of the name but more or less what it's called) light tank, fast little bugger with one helluva cannon but weak armor so it's more suited to scouting or hit and run tactics, but hey, just my opinion, great story mate and can't wait to see what comes next

How about a..... MAUS!! An experimental tank that were created in Germany in WW2. The history is that only 2 were created and only 1 was ever loaded.
