I really like where I think this is going and I also like the way your building the plot.(No pun intended) You could try to make your chapters a bit longer though. I always wanted a halo crossover with Spike in it. I don't know a dragon with built in armor plus Spartin training, chemicals added to a dragons normal muscle and, what I feel is the iceing on the cake, thumbs.
