He is an earnest stallion in search of that special place where he can feel like he belongs. Barebash never got to earn his mark as he was growing up, but the desire to obtain one was never there to begin with, so he let his father worry about it for him. On the night of his debut in the Equestrian Fighting League, Barebash gets to witness for the first time the majesty that is Princess Celestia, strickening him with awe.

Barebash embarks on a quest of self-discovery, wanting to find out the best way in which he can serve his country and its ruler. It is a conquest that may even yield unto him truth on a possible conspiracy behind his mother's disappearance during his youth.
