Why is it that Celestia has really never personally done anything useful? I've always wondered that.

5068055 As sad as is it, Celestia's role is relegated only to being a secondary character and therefore has little to no room for development. It seems ironic that she is constancy portrayed as someone who is incompetent and such a bad decision maker yet she is the tutor to the series protagonist and for someone who is marketed as being 'A wise ruler' yet she is making mistakes to help further the story, all the while she is the one who inspired Twilight and her destiny in the first place. x.x

Sort of sad how it is so many characters with potential for stories get ignored for the sake of over glorifying the mane 6, hence why we have a sun pony who is portrayed as a fool instead of a ruler, a captain of the royal guard who is about as useful as a chocolate tea pot, a princess of love was only introduced to help further a toy line which has been and gone and many other characters who had yet to make another come back since "Well, Fluttershy/Twilight/Rainbow/Pinkie/Rarity/Applejack CLEARLY needs more screen time!" so say the Hasbro exects. Quit sad. -_-
