Ode to a dreamer

For the Writer's Training Ground over on DA they made a prompt to work with cliches, one of the cliches was Twilight's spell going wrong and causing bad things to happen. I decided to go with that.

This might not meld well with a lot of folks' mindset for Octavia and Lyra but I decided to give it a try, my first time writing them.

This was written back in August of last year, which surprises me it's been that long.

I love it! This is one of the best Octavia fics I've read in a long while. I know it's cliche, but I laughed and I cried. It was a moving story and it certainly took me away from my regular perspective of Lyra and Octavia. Thank you for the incredible read.

I got so caught up in this. The interplay between the two siblings is so perfectly balanced. The love and playfulness but also the tension and then the concert...wow. This is beautiful.
