Twilight you can't really blame Celestia. You cause your accension not her. All she did was provide the path to it.

The sad truth about immortality.

Oh, and Applejack is just one word.

4856307 Well to be fair, Celestia didn't tell her exactly what she was getting into until the last minute, so they both screwed up.

man, i was hoping this was going to be a story about her working to try and undo her immortality. against celestia's wishes would be even better.

Don't let the naysayers deter you. Frankly, I'm tired of stories that claim that just because friendships end, that they're worthless. And yes, even without immortality, they do end. Death and sorrow are painful but they are a part of life, like anything else. It is part of existence. Fluttershy knew this more than anyone else, due to her attachements to beings she outlived naturally despite being a mortal.

If friendship is so utterly fleeting, meaningless, and unimportant that all it brings is eternal sorrow, then what good is it in the first place? I always found it ridiculous to think that "it's better to never love than to love, because heartbreaks sucks".

4856861 I have no idea where I'm going with this fic, so thanks for the advice! :raritystarry:

4857071 Like I said, I just came up with this listening to a dark song. Frankly, I have no idea where I'm going with this. :unsuresweetie:

Oh boy, it's one of those Anti-Twilicorn stories
