Gosh, this is a signifigant improvement since the last time I read one of your stories. You've realy improved your story telling.
However, one thing that really irked me was your usage of present tense verbs. It really should be "Airborne raced" not "Airborne races", but at least you were consistant. When narrating a atory that's in the first or third person, you ought to speak in the past tense.
