Hmm, good story so far... But this is merely the first chapter, I don't have much to go by. Come on, update quick so I know what I'm dealing with, eh?
Anyways, I didn't see any grammar or spelling problems, but that might be because I didn't read it thoroughly, and I'm tired, and I'm a bit sick... Ah, oh well. 4549235 well, it's definitely the least useful of the three.
Snow Ponies are stronger than normal ponies, even the snow unicorns and snow pegasi. That being said, there isn't anything bad about being a snow unicorn. Your magic is just fine so you're basically a strong unicorn. And the Earth Snow ponies are just like strong, stout earth ponies. I can't really think of any benefits to being a snow pegasus but if you do, let me know.

Maybe they're gifted when working with cold weather magic or manipulating ice or snow? Super snow balls! Though otherwise that'd be somewhat limited on the ground.
But since pegasi can make clouds, I suppose they hoof make their own to glide or skate around on. He could attach itty bitty clouds to his hooves and skate across anything!
