Last Chapter

“Okay so the damage to Canterlot times the damage to most of the cities in Equestria plus my old tree..” A lavender alicorn said to herself mostly as she was inspecting how much it would cost to repair most of the damage done to her world thanks to a tyrant she beaten. Her friends however were admiring the new castle they now lived in.

“Wowzers Twilight, this place sure is bigger than the library ever was!” Pinkie Pie exclaimed as she hopped into the castle’s study, followed by the rest of their friends.

“Yeah, took me 20 minutes just to find the bathroom.” Rainbow Dash said as she flew over next to Twilight.

“So… What ya doing?” The cyan pegasus asked as Twilight sighed heavily.

“Trying to figure out a proper budget plan for the rebuilding.” The Princess of Friendship said as she looked over the plans.

“Why don’t ya just take a breather Twi and get some rest. It’s been a big day fer all of us.” Applejack said as Twilight took a final look at the budget plans.

“Yes dear, you really need to take a break. Get something to eat, take a nap, it’s not like Equestria is going to fall apart the second you look away.” Rarity said as a royal guard came running up.

“Princess Twilight! The water tower is about to fall over!” The guard exclaimed as he stopped to catch his breath. Twilight gave Rarity a look that said she was not so sure about the ivory unicorn’s previous statement.

“Alright, get as many unicorn and earth ponies as you need to hold it up. I’ll be along in a moment to help plan out the repairs.” Twilight ordered as the guard saluted and galloped off.

“You know I REALLY wish Mayor Mare was still running things.” Twilight said as she began trotting off down the halls.

“She’s not?” Fluttershy asked as they passed the throne room.

“No, apparently with acting royalty in town, the chain of command goes to me. Technically she still has a job and is still the mayor, but she’s not exactly the first pony people look to in this town anymore when there’s trouble.” Twilight said with a small blush on her face as the Elements exited the castle and headed for the water tower.

The Element Bearers got to the water tower, only to find it gone. Just… gone.
“Uh this IS the right spot right?” Rainbow Dash asked as she looked to her friends, who were just as bewildered as she was.

“Y’all know of any other water towers in town?” Applejack asked rhetorically as Twilight walked up the guard from before.

“What happened here exactly?” The alicorn asked as the guard turned, the same gobsmacked look on his face as everypony else around.

“I… I have no idea Princess. One second we were holding the tower up, but it started to buckle, then the next some red and blue blur rushes past and then the tower was just gone.”

“Hey!” A voice called from above. It was a pegasus, Spitfire of the Wonderbolts to be precise, who was looking rather irate.

“I don’t know what you Ponyvillians like to do for fun, but could you give a little warning before you start firing water towers into the sky?! There’s a LOT of damage up in Cloudsdale because of that thing!” Spitfire ranted at the guard before her, not noticing Twilight.

“Did anypony get hurt?” Twilight asked as Spitfire shook her head.

“No, but they could have been! That thing barreled through a bank, a restaurant and a school before it fell off into the mountains somewhere. Look Princess with all do respect, if this is going to become a new town event then I think you need to make sure there’s not anything in the way before you start.” Spitfire ranted, but she knew she was in the right and so did Twilight… If only she knew exactly what was going on.

“Uh, yes, well… We’ll be sure to do that. I’ll send word to give you some help with the repairs up there.” Twilight said as Spitfire nodded before flying off. The lavender alicorn knew there was no sense in letting news of this strange occurrence getting out.

“What could have done this Twilight?” Rainbow Dash asked.

“I don’t know, it couldn't have been Discord. He could do it, but it’s just too odd even for him.” The alicorn said as the ground began to shake. She looked to see none other than an Ursa Major stomping through town. It wasn't attacking, which meant it was most likely just moving from one cave to another. Still they had to be very careful, a single mishap or sudden loud noise by anypony could provoke it. Before Twilight could even figure out how to avoid an angry giant celestial animal a blur passed right by her… a red and blue blur to be exact and she could have sworn she heard it say “BIZARRO HERE TO SAVE THE DAY!”

She barely had time to register what it meant when the blur stopped right in front of her to reveal the strangest looking creature she had ever seen. It was a large bipedal creature with a dark red cape, a dark blue suit with what appeared to be red underwear on the outside of his suit. But what really made it strange was that it’s skin was pale white and it had pale yellow eyes and teeth. It also had a letter on it’s chest, a backward S, and it looked like the whole being was lopsided. Sadly The Ursa Major heard it and roared at the source of the loud noise that disturbed it.

“Little ponies stay safe! Bizarro hurt big bear!” The being, Twilight assumed was called Bizarro, told them as it flew towards the giant bear.

“Wait! That’s an Ursa Major! It’s too danger….” Twilight started to call out to the caped being, but it grabbed the Ursa by its tail and flew it up, lifting it almost effortlessly.

“BEAR GO BACK TO CAVE!” The creature dubbed Bizarro yelled as he threw the beast into its original home. “You am safe now!” Bizarro said as he flew off, giving a yellow jagged toothed smile.

“Uh, Twilight… What just happened?” Rarity asked as Twilight blinked several times, trying to comprehend what DID happen.

“Something… REALLY bizarre”

At least you're showing Bizarro as a well-meaning, if reckless. How will Equestria handle something as nonsensical as the guy who has fire breath, ice vision, and "Macroscopic-Vision"(look it up, he literally looks at something and makes it bigger. Don't ask how works, just don't. It's like trying to explain Pinkie to someone - It just can't be done).

Also, as of this moment, ship Pinkie and Bizzaro, just for the hell of it.
