Captain Lunar

Just a pony fan that loves the series. I mainly like shipping stories, crossovers, and some good old fashioned comedy. I also don't mind OC's as long as they're written well.

It's Superhorse. Superpony just sounds weird. Not as strong as the word 'horse'.

Superpony is fine with me. Also, is that Shining Armor supposed to be a member of the GL Corps or the original Green Lantern?

A mix. All the mysticism of Alan Scott, with all the enemies and history of Hal.

All I can say is awesome. Just pure awesome. Alan Scott is actually my favorite Green Lantern, well BEFORE the DC reboot destroyed everything I loved about the Justice Society and the Golden Age DC characters, and it's so rare to see someone not only USE Alan's origin(Or even know about him) but try to merge him with the more well known Green Lantern.

Well I liked the magic and -one-of-a-kindness of Alan, but the whole spirit and spectrum of the current lanterns. So I decided that each ring would be a magical construct stored within each of the great powers, which would then be released in accordance with a prophecy. They'd all share direct ties with the Elements of Harmony.(Not the bearers, but the arcane forces themselves.)

Naturally, Green is Chrysalis, Yellow is Celestia, Blue is Luna, Red is Sombra, Orange is Discord, and Violet is the Crystal Heart. (Willpower/Generosity, Fear/Magic, Hope/Laughter, Rage/Honesty, Avarice/Kindness, and Love/Loyalty)

Each is unlocked by an major event involving that Great Power. Example, The Orange Light was created when Discord finally knew what kindness was.

I know what you mean. I just always thought Alan was a bit more interesting. I mean I love the GL Corps and the Space Cop thing, but it really does take away when you've got thousands of others with the same name and powers. Only two complaints I have with Alan as a Green Lantern.

1: A shocking lack of green in his costume. Really just an all green cape and mask would be enough to make the name Green Lantern really work.

2: He's got kind of a lame oath. I mean, it really does lack the epicness of the Green Lantern Corps oath.

However aside from those two things, he's my absolute favorite.

Okay, so Shining Armor gets a ring and lantern TOTALLY unrelated to these forces, like Alan with the GL Corps.

The ring is the same ring connected to Chrysalis. Said queen is also a hero with connections to the color green.

Okay?:unsuresweetie: Sorry, just that there's so much more you could do with the ring Shining Armor gets.

Oh, I have this all planned out. It'll involve some major character development on Chrysalis' part.

Love the idea. My one suggestion is make it more like Big Macintosh and less like Clark:eeyup:

This isn't writing. This is a summary.

Writing takes its time in setting a scene and building up action. You just blaze through this with barely a care. There's nothing here that holds interest for too long--almost like you were writing this while on a sugar high and couldn't focus on anything.

You need to take your time. Balance the beige prose with some purple prose. Don't tell the readers flat out that "X Did Y"; simply imply what they're doing and we'll figure it out.

Reminds me a lot of these, in terms of narrative style:
