Chapter 1: Settling In

Settling in

Deathnote woke from crash on what was left of the deck.Taking in his surroundings he saw orchards of apple trees all bearing perfectly ripe apples.Then he realized the ship crashed into the middle of this orchard the "Well somepony's in for a surprise." He muttered to nopony in particular.Jumping down from the wreck he recognized vinyl unconscious on the ground "VINYL SCRATCH!" He yelled unsurprisingly getting no response from vinyl but another familiar voice came from beyond the wreckage
"Deathnote! over here!"Deathnote began his trek around what was once a noble airship but not before get interrupted by an orange earthpony "Now who in Equestria are y'all?"she spoke with a southern accent

Putting on his best smile Deathnote replied."Midnight sonata and your name is?"

"Applejack proud owner of sweet apple acres!"

Deathnote by now had put 2 and 2 together/"Ah well I am terribly sorry about this but this is what happens when someone like her drives." he said gesturing to Vinyl

Applejack's voice became a serious at this point."That doesn't really excuse yah."

Deathnote was in no mood to argue right now."True but when your'e someone like me you begin to expect this sort of thing I have bank accounts in pretty much every bank in Equestria i can get you money to fix this by the end of this week at the latest."

"How can ah trust yah?"

This was a pretty valid question."You have my word as a unicorn of trottingham." Deathnote said holding out a hoof for a hoof shake

Applejack sighed "fine around about 10,000 bits."

Deathnote waved a dismissive hoof."Good now if you'll excuse me i need to find some crew who are conscious" with that Deathnote was gone.

When Deathnote reached the other side of the wreck he saw Circuit Break A.K.A. Lightning Rod a dark blue unicorn with a Yellow mane his cutie mark was a lightning rod also he is CEO of lightning industries ,Octavia and Feather Blade A.K.A Hurricane wind a white pegasus with a black mane and cutie mark that consists of a steel feather slightly bloodied who was once captain of Trottingham weather team "oh good the competent ponies are awake finally something goes right.First Vinyl's unconscious and now I owe some farmpony named Applejack around 10,000 bits to fix this land who knew dirt was so expensive?"

"Wait Vinyl's unconscious?" Octavia asked with genuine worry

"Do I mumble or something?Yes she's unconscious."

"Oh well in that case.VINYL SCRATCH YOU BLITHERING IDIOT COME HERE RIGHT NOW!"

Deathnote hadn't had time to prepare for that so he was still holding his ears"Sorry I don't think the moon heard you maybe a little louder next time?"

Vinyl now awake (probably along with the rest of Equestria) was now trotting towards them

Deathnote slowly becoming more positive about the situation said."Good we're all here so here's the plan Octavia and Circuit your're with me Vinyl and Feather you work and moving ponies to the hospital now chop chop!"

Vinyl groaned."Wait why do I have to stay here?"

Deathnote slightly twitched at such a stupid question."Because of one simple thing we no longer have a mode of transport due to somepony being incredibly careless. Now as I was saying let's MOVE!"

On a nearby hill a white unicorn was watching the entire scene unfurl and began talking into a (lightning industries) walkie talkie "The targets have landed in ponyville awaiting further orders."

"Good work now continue observations from afar do not I repeat do not act unless instructed."

The trek to town wasn't too long and they arrived shortly and ran into a pink earth pony who the moment she saw them was gone in the blink of an eye leaving a smoke cloud that was roughly her shape

Shocked by this unusual display Deathnote said."Well if that's how the all the locals react we may wan't to get the airship fixed sooner than planned."
"Yeah that's not happening did you see what the crash did to the engine? it was hard enough making it the first time let alone fixing it now."Circuit said with a sigh

"Stallions! I can't help but think we're getting sidetracked we are meant to finding a bank not rambling about a broken engine."Ranted a slightly aggravated Octavia

Circuit had now got back on track."Oh yeah right I think there's one over there."

After withdrawing 110,000 bits the extra 10,000 for that earthpony's orchard the rest to buy a house Because as lightning kept saying they were going to be there a while.
Deathnote now was completely positive despite earlier."Okay now on to town hall hopefully a house is available." After a surprisingly brief visit to town hall they were pointed in the direction of their new home somewhere on the edge of town thankfully no one yet tied the recent destruction of the town to the new residents who have arrived by airship.

On their way to town hall Circuit bumped into a lavender unicorn with her assistant they seemed to be surveying the damage done."hey watch where your going.Wait lightning?"

"Me what about you not looking where your.Hang on a minute Twilight?"Lightning had now calmed down realising who this was

"Glad to see you remember something Lightning."Twilight replied slightly bitter

Circuit scratched the back of his neck nervously."I remember things just not the right things."

"You could say that.just leaving without as much as a goodbye!"

Circuit laughed "Okay you got me but like your any better I heard that you just left Canterlot the moment the princess told you without as much as a cya."

Deathnote chimed in "Did I miss something here?"

"We used to go to princess Celestia's school for gifted unicorns and well lightning sorta had a crush on me."Twilight began to blush

"Was it that obvious?"Circuit asked

Twilight was now completely blushing."Every time you saw me you pretty much turned red!Not to mention the day you asked me out."

"Speaking of which you said you'd get back to me on that and technically you never said no"Circuit said giving twilight a quick kiss to which she turned bright red.
"Catch you later Twi" lightning yelled from across town square as he walked off with Deathnote and Octavia.

"so Lightning never thought you to be the lover type." Deathnote joked.
Circuit rolled his eyes"Ironic coming from you Midnight."
"And that means?"Deathnote snapped
Circuit whispered something into Deathnote's ear

"WE ARE NOT!" Deathnote yelled in embarrassment and then glancing at Octavia he added "Yet."

"Look I just want to settle down for now no murders yet just we need to set up base here."
"Got it boss." Both Octavia and Circuit replied in unison.
"Good now let's hope this place-."
"SURPRISE!!!"
"My heart just stopped.no really"Deathnote muttered words dripping with sarcasm

You could really benefit from a proofreader; there are more than a few run-on sentences, even in the description.

it probably wouldnt hurt to tell who says what a little more, some of the conversations got a little confuseing
