There is literally nothing cooler than mass drivers. Especially gravitonic mass drivers that shoot a beam of molten metal. Taking hints from the Reapers, eh? Were she to try that on Titan, he'd be a goner as long as she left the iron in one solid lump. Granted, everything else in a two mile radius would be gone too, but hey, he'd be as dead as it gets. After marathoning this entire story in less that two days for a second time, I have something I'd like to say.

The Immortal Game is one of the greatest fanfictions I've ever read, in any fandom. Everything simply works, from your characterization of the Mane Six to your OCs to your action scenes to your dialog. I would not be exaggerating one bit of i said that I would put this fix on my top ten novels of all time.

I dislike most My Little Pony darkfics because I feel that it misses the point of the show. But the truly great dark stories like this one don't forget that what matters most are the strength of the characters, and more importantly, the strength of the characters together, because friendship is magic. Because boiled down to its essence, what this story says isn't all that different from what My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is always trying to teach us. No matter how bad things may seem, no matter how little hope there might be, you can always find strength and keep going if your friends are by your side.

Sir, I am utterly jealous of the skill with which you wrote stories about ponies.

I predict the next scene will involve a tearful reunion between Celestia and Twilight, forgiveness, transfer of power, and Twilight descending into the scariest cold-blooded murderous revenge plot against titan ever heard of in the history of equestria. So she has 2 available minds, a blade with more pieces than TITAN HIMSELF, omnicasting magic and the ability to use her bags of holding to conjure a lazor killbeam so beautifully described I nearly cried on sight (I have a personal love of those kind of things, as fight descriptions are something I do well in with regards to writing) Luna getting mangled... again... (she gets beat on a lot) and so much more... the only thing I want to see more of at this point would be Twilight breaking down shortly after Celestia dies (or they make up, regardless of her survival) and she finally explains in gory detail the scene in which Esteem turned her into Nihlus, inciting a crowning moment of heartwarming as her friends help her with it. Yes.

Now that I read that I think I must be hideously sadistic...

So that leaves Twi to take on Titan... that won't end as easily. Epic battle anyone? I'll bring the popcorn! I'd bring the pastries but Pinkie will have that covered I'm sure.

Awesome character development for Terra, I now feel like I can relate to her and hate her much better. Mainly hate. She's got the same "I'm so high up on my giant god pedestal I can't see shit" thing as Titan. I just can't get over the fact that you managed to inspire so much pity for her in me despite the fact that she's an invincible god constantly trying to kill all my beloved main characters. Kudos

I love the fact that Terra is the embodiment of the Darwinian philosophy. Nature, by its very essence, is survival of the fittest and Terra is the embodiment of nature.

Poor Celestia! First Titan shoves a blade through her chest, then Twilight gives her a figurative run-through, and then, feeling left out and tired of the greater outdoors, Terra decides her true passion is interior decorating... starting with Celestia's ribcage. Yeesh.

Hoo boy, does Twilight know how to kick it up a notch when it counts or what? Hooves crossed that Terra winds up as a fine paste buried under several tons of the temporarily liquified remains of Ponyville.
