I know that it was done to appease dramatic effect, but Twilight really could have just tapped her connection to Fluttershy to ascertain whether she was alive. Regardless, this chapter was glorious. Also creepy as hell, since much of it is from Twilight's perspective.

It's going to be a long, long time before I read a story as good as this again. It'll be longer yet before I read another story that's even half as epic.

I want to point out the minor grammatical errors here and there, but Exakktus' and Fluttershy's arrival, coupled with that cliffhanger, have completely blown my mind.

This... is... so... AWESOME! Fluttershy evolved into Flutterbitch. I almost feel sorry for Titan and his 'army'... Almost.
Applejack's hat must be made of Unobtainium. It just has to be.

I've been following this story since the first few chapters were posted. At this point, I have only one thing left to say...

Rad dude. I can't wait for Psychoshy to kill all the bad monsters, and for Titan to (hopefully) face his defeat. I can't wait to read the look on his face, or see if Terra can be reformed at all when her former master is destroyed.

(...couldn't the army form into columns and let the monsters run past? Or at least give it a shot; the bearers acting as insurance against any that still attacked. Less soldiers would be lost if they could pull it off.)

Whoo! I wasn't expecting an update so soon, but I'm glad to see it. To celebrate, I'll leave a long winded comment because I haven't left one before.

What really stands out for me with this fic is that you write the violence in a way that actually makes me cringe, as it should. The mind rape, especially in earlier chapters and Terra's backstory, even went as far as being sickening to me. I just lol'd at Cupcakes and Rainbow Factory, I roll my eyes at slasher flicks and play my damn desensitizing vidyagames like a total sociopath. Then I start reading this and I'm like: RAINBOW! TWILIGHT! NOOOOO!!!

The villains are great too. I actually dislike and get creeps from Nihilus, Esteem, Terra, and Titan, all for different reasons.

I'm happy to see a lack of Redshirting, even nameless characters' deaths affect the main characters. Although parts like Fluttershy riding in on a dragon are gloriously badass, we're continually reminded that there are heavy losses all around and nothing about this battle is fun for the Main 6. The Fluttershy entrance was immediately followed by a passage that said she was has to allow herself to become a wild animal to hold her own in the fight.

My other favorite thing here that the characters care for the greater good, but that isn't really why they're fighting. Each one finds a personal motivation to keep them going. Friendship is completely relevant to the story, even though the premise is far outside of anything that could happen in FIM canon.

I'm excited for the end now, especially how Twilight's character will be handled. Her viewpoints in the ending chapters have become increasingly painful to read, if she survives she's still going to be seriously screwed up from this experience. You're great at showing us how the war is tearing her apart without it becoming tiresome whiny angst or anvil-morals.

TL/DR: I like your story because has good character development and it keeps punching all my feels. The extreme brutality of the war, and the emotional crippling that results reminds me of All Quiet on the Western Front, which is one of my favorite print novels.

God damn it man, you are killing me with your crushing powers of writing. That Fluttershy. Jesus fuck.

Crikey. Now, Pinke and Dash are cool and all, and Rarity and Applejack is about as badass as it gets without going god-mode, and Twilight's power surpasses them all by an order of magnitude, but she is still just an absurdly powerful pony, a demi-goddess at best. Fluttershy however... Oh man, that is what a goddess is.

This continues to be the best fic I've read. Damn, it's good. Have a moustache for your work:

So much epicness is concentrated on this chapter. It made me lose the capacity to feel.

As an unashamed Dash fanboy, the first part of the chapter was beautiful. And as a Rarity fanboy the third part was pretty damn awesome as well.

She screamed, because that seemed like the appropriate thing to do when slaying a dragon, and she felt her blade slide into the dragon's brain. This is a really good observation. Next time I kill a dragon I'm planning on screaming.

And Fluttershy at the end. Wow, that may have just made me a Fluttershy fanboy.

Friday cannot come fast enough.

Why do I think that Fluttershy will make up for not fighting the entire war in one night? Because she just became the most epic Fluttershy of any story anywhere, that's why.

Actually, I believe he wrote and edited the last three chapters all together, as originally, the 21st chapter was supposed to be the last one, and therefore, ridiculously long. I guess the author decided against the notion and split it up into three chapters.

Listening to Mass Effect 3 music while reading this makes this story even moar awesome.

I must say, as with everyone else... Epic, Beyond EPIC!

Still though, I wanted to see Twilight pull out some cool magic/physics again. Take a few steel balls, set them up in an infinite dimension with no friction and a strong gravatational force. Get them going up to a few Machs, say, mach 7-8, maybe up to 10. Then just let them out... Gauss Cannon to go along with her thermic mass accelerator spell. I can't imagine even a horde of monsters being happy with the shockwave and destruction a handful of shot going Mach 10 would do.

I wondered what baddassery fluttershy would have and here we go queen of all that is nature.
