This is my new favourite fanfic. It's awesome, and everything I had hoped my own fanfic would be. It's far, far better than I can manage. One small thing though - are you sure you meant 'kueen' and not 'queen'?

The freeing of Twilight from Nihilus came a chapter or two earlier than I expected but these past two chapters were pretty damn awesome.

This is a great story so far although I cried at the beginning of this chapter
I like Rarity's power and your take on Luna. Everyone seems to make her perfect, but your characterization shows her as flawed but strong and loving of her sister. Can't wait for more!

and then the whole chapter got 20% Cooler and my mind just exploded

I had the biggest smile on my face reading this chapter, you really know how to bring us back from the edge of despair :)

Great story. The action scenes do get a little boring. We are in text format after all. Try to limit the flashy shounen powers to stuff that's strictly necessary for characterization. Same for the characters: you don't need to have them show off their personality every five lines. Stick to just establishing who they are, and when and why they change. Don't keep piling the awesome, heartwarming, heartrending, and funny moments just like that, otherwise you'll end up with a mess. An enjoyable mess, but a mess nonetheless. Keep it tight. Keep improving: your work is awesome.

541127 Not sure if it will be explained later on, but my take on Flutters is that the Elements of Harmony represent harmony right? That's also shown in the group having a pair of each kind of pony. Now, Pinkie is earth-pegasus-hybrid-thingy, meaning that the group has too much pegasus magic. So to counter it out, Fluttershy, the pegasus who isn't really all that great at flying, is more comfortable on the ground(heck, her cottage's roof is covered in grass), has more innate earth-pony magic than pegasus-magic, thus keeping the balance intact. Oh and Pinkie's original concept was a pegasus(Surprise) and Fluttershy's was an earth-pony.

That was quite possibly the best chapter I have read. EVER.

Also, I like the mixing up with Fluttershy and Pinkie. It really DOES explain how she constantly appears from the top of the screen and so on. She has limited hover ability due to her innate pegasus magic...also helps explain her balloons a little more.

The Pinkie / Fluttershy thing just makes so much SENSE! It is officially my second favorite concept (the first being that Twilight is constantly working under a self imposed magic limiting spell).

Ironic that Nihilus--a cruel, sadistic abomination--spent her last moments pleading for mercy.

Pinkie having pegasus magic was not all that shocking. I don't think any new origin for Pinkie's shenanigans would surprise me anymore.

Fluttershy ripping the lock with her teeth, however... that had me shitting bricks. And the Sonic Rainboom and the Element-giving... well, those are two of my all-time favourite parts of the series, imagine how wide my smile was, seeing them in here.

I see what you did there, giving Pinkie and Fluttershy hints of each others breed. "Surprise" and "Posey" come to mind

Oh, my gosh, dude! I seriously jumped out of my chair and started cheering at that line. See, THIS is what a dark story is supposed to be. Yes, you can show the characters we love getting hurt, defeated, dragged to their lowest points. But when you bring them back up, and the bad guys get what's coming to them, it's so sweet. I almost want to stop reading because I don't want them to come to more harm, but I can't. This is now one of my favorite stories in this fandom!

Adding on to what all the other comments had to say, this chapter was the end of the first major battle in this war. Even grander battles await me and I'm excited!

I like how the Mane 6's fighting styles match their personailities.

Rarity: Fencer and magic: using elegance and precision to fight. Fencer's require those attributes to fight and mixing them with magic takes a lot of skill rather than power.

Applejack: Basically a freakin' heavy tank: POWER! POWER! POWER! And the ability to absorb great amounts of damage and still keep kickin'!

Fluttershy: Support: She may seem useless at first glance but that STARE will bite on enemy in the ass if they don't heed. Also, now with earth pony strength, she now has a new dynamic to her attack axis.

Twilight: Commander, Magic: Spells, spells, and more spells and not to mention the almighty tactics that keep victory within reach.

Luna: Goddess, balance, flexible multi-strike: Super pony powers, and she contains all dynamics and even though she may not be the best in every category, she is still a force to be reckoned with in every category.

And my favorite:

Pinkie Pie & Rainbow Dash: Creative, agile, flexible attack axis, ninja-like: Their active, hasty and restless personalities are emulated by the way they attack. Pulling off stunts such as flips, spinning kicks, and blocking to lightning strike reflexes, quick-strike blows, and unprecedented mobility, these two (especially as a tag team, which I think happens again later in the story) are a duo dangerous to engage, even with a significant numerical advantage.

This chapter was great and my feelings were similar to those of the Drill Sergeant above me!

I dont usually fist pound the air in the middle of a fic...this is one of those times I did. This fight scene ruled and I loved how Twi tricked the son of a donkey! Also, I was playing "loyalty" when dashie came back. I knew I had to when it happened and hoped it will eb be awesome, glad you defiled my expecations. the fight just upgraded those.

134204 Last chapter, when Fluttershy use The Stare on Wrong, it weakened the Insanity to the point where Rainbow Dash could exist in her own mind again. When she saw Pinkie Pie falling to what would have been her death, the desire to save her gave Rainbow the strength to overcome the Insanity.

And you liked her better as Wrong? You disgust me!

One question. Was Rainbow Dash trapped inside her own head like Twilight? Because the way it shows her in this chapter was like that. Could someone either confirm this or prove me wrong? Cause I am confused!

Nihilus used a spell on Dash that created a compulsion to serve her, Dashes true personality remained dominant for a short time but if given an instruction by Nihilus and she resisted doing it, the spell would cause her mental torment. eventually the spell eroded Dashed mind enough that a null personality filled the gaps, it then named itself "Wrong". Flutter's "Stare" was enough to damage the null personality and allow Dash to fight it.

Nihilus on the other hand was created by the "Sliver" building a personality on top of Twilight's thus trapping twilight in her own mind, exactly like when Luna became Nightmare Moon. the "Sliver" even started twisting Twilight's body to match the new personality.

so to answer your question. while both where trapped in their own minds, only Twilight was fully aware of everything. Dash was literally locked in a dungeon in her head, being only aware of bits and pieces and unable to communicate with "Wrong" thus the "little voice" going away.

Holy shit, I have never been so thankful for Nihilus to show up and take an element. I can't believe that Pinkie was actually going to kill Dash! She is under mind control for fuck's sake! Damn! Super Rainbow Dash for the win! Holy shit! Well, that chapter deserves the name as one of the best chapters in this story. I mean damn, Shy comes back to life, Dash goes super Dash, and Twin over powers that Nihilus and comes back. That has got to be one of the best chapters of anything that I have ever read. The only things that could ever rival that chapter is something from Fallout Equestria.
