Even the shows first two-parter episode had some pretty big plot holes. So, inspired by 'How It Should Have Ended' videos, here is how I think 'Friendship is Magic Part 2' SHOULD have ended. Enjoy, and don't forget to leave a comment stating what you think.

Many walls were broken that night. This fic kinda caught my eye there, good job.

That was something. It wasn't good, but it wasn't bad. I didn't really like it. It was very confusing.:rainbowhuh: I won't give you a dislike though.

Part I: That would have made more sense, however, I don't see these six going on a long journey to find the elements and sticking together that long.

Part II: All valid arguments, but how are a couple of counter arguments:

“Then… then why didn’t you do that a thousand years ago when she first turned evil?” asked Twilight. “Instead of locking her away in the moon for a thousand years?”

Nightmare Moon just blasted the crap out of her. She just knew that she had to get rid of NmM that quickest way possible without harming her, while Celestia trying to think of a way to cure her.

When you abandoned this castle all those centuries ago, why didn’t you take the elements with you, instead of just leaving them here in an abandoned, crumbling apart castle?

First of all, she just had to banish her sister with them, the last thing she wanted to do was even look at them. Secondly, with the other bearer stuck on the Moon, the elements were useless stones. Who would want them? Third, one of the elements disappeared without a trace. Even if someone get them, they could use them without the sixth anyway.

“Then shouldn’t that technically make you a Queen, and not a Princess?”

In Equestria, Queens and Kings are evil (look at Chrysalis and Sombra). Princes and Princesses are good. That's why.

Then comes this:

Seriously?:rainbowlaugh:

Have a like.

4194304 The source of everything joyous and glorious. It's made up of Clam and Napoleon-

Actually- I don't know. I just came up with that name on a whim... and I'm fond of it, weirdly enough.

This was good. That is all, carry on.

Well that was random.

4194210 I have some counters to your counters.

Nightmare Moon just blasted the crap out of her. She just knew that she had to get rid of NmM that quickest way possible without harming her, while Celestia trying to think of a way to cure her.

How is sealing her in the moon any quicker than turning her back to good?

First of all, she just had to banish her sister with them, the last thing she wanted to do was even look at them.

Then that would make Celestia very irresponsible. Part of being a ruler is doing things you might not like.

Secondly, with the other bearer stuck on the Moon, the elements were useless stones. Who would want them?

I know who would want them! An evil villain would want to get them so that he could get rid of them so that they could never be used against him.

Third, one of the elements disappeared without a trace. Even if someone get them, they could use them without the sixth anyway.

I thought the spark of friendship made the sixth one appear. And I’m pretty sure Celestia knew that.

You’re kidding. You’re kidding, right?

I'm saying she probably did not know that the elements could change her back at the moment.

Then that would make Celestia very irresponsible. Part of being a ruler is doing things you might not like.

True. Grief can make you do things you would not normally do. After all, instead of rebuilding her castle, she created a new capital.

Good Point. I got nothing.

I thought the spark of friendship made the sixth one appear. And I’m pretty sure Celestia knew that.

My bad. I meant to type 'Even if someone got them, they could not use them without the sixth anyway.' And I doubt everyone who would take them would be able to bring forth the sixth.

You’re kidding. You’re kidding, right?

Please name one good queen or king in Equestria that is canon. If I'm wrong, I'll admit it. (It wouldn't be the first and it won't be the last)

Thank you for the response. Until the next 'Should Have' story.:rainbowwild:

The mane six didn't know that the elements could change her back to good, but that's what they did.

True. Grief can make you do things you would not normally do. After all, instead of rebuilding her castle, she created a new capital.

Grief? Throughout that episode, and throughout the entire series, I never saw Celestia once express any grief about what she did. And even if she did feel grief, I refuse to believe that a character as selfless and wise as the show makes Celestia out to be would be that selfish and irresponsible.

Please name one good queen or king in Equestria that is canon. If I'm wrong, I'll admit it. (It wouldn't be the first and it won't be the last)

If Celestia would just start calling herself a queen, which is what she technically is, then she could be the first good queen.

Hey if you ever do a HISHE for Power Ponies could you have Superhero Café in it as well.

I'm pretty sure the Elements are their own things that you can't tell to do this or that. All of the ponies were likely to have different opinions, after all (Rainbow might want her to die, some may want her back in the moon, or have her power taken away so she could reform herself... a thousand possibilities really), and whose would they choose? Twilight, because she's the leader? No! All of them, before Twi was turned into a princess, were equal. There is no leader in harmony, and it isn't something you force, as it happens naturally.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Nightmare spirit was too strong for a single pony, in her grief, to destroy. The bearers were all grinning when they were defeating her (and every other villain), and one of them was Laughter - does that look like she was feeling any laughter?

Also, commenting on old works is probably useless, but I'm doing it anyway. :P

5569743 If the elements just do whatever they want and don't take what the bearers want into consideration, then what's the point of even having bearers?

Besides, what even is harmony? The idea that there is a certain way everyone and everything is supposed to be in the world, and if its not that way then the world is out of balance? I don't believe in that. Who's to say how things are supposed to be and not? I believe that the only thing that maters in the world is the choices we make, and the results of those choices. For example, Luna chose to become evil of her own free will, didn't she? So isn't the Elements forcing her to turn good again against her will wrong? How is that natural, like you said harmony was?

Also, if the Elements do their own thing like you said they do, then why didn't they turn Nightmare Moon back to good a thousand years ago? Why did they only do that now?

I wouldn't be surprised if the Nightmare spirit was too strong for a single pony, in her grief, to destroy. The bearers were all grinning when they were defeating her (and every other villain), and one of them was Laughter - does that look like she was feeling any laughter?

I have no idea what you meant by that.

Once again good work.

“Then… then why didn’t you do that a thousand years ago when she first turned evil?” asked Twilight. “Instead of locking her away in the moon for a thousand years?”

I have a theory for that. Because Celestia was using the Elements by herself, the elements couldn't work like she wanted and thus Nightmare was banished to the moon.

“When you abandoned this castle all those centuries ago, why didn’t you take the elements with you, instead of just leaving them here in an abandoned, crumbling apart castle?

Maybe the one who made the prophecy told Celestia to leave them there?

[I mean, we know you had them a thousand years ago. Why would you just leave something as important and powerful as them in an abandoned old castle in the middle of a forest where anyone or anything could possibly come along and steel them?”

Well maybe that a secret know to only a few?
