"IF you would like, I could tackle editting for you."
As for errors, I'll have to go back and check over tomorrow. Right now, have the sleepies

4231150 Thanks, I'll gladly take you up on that offer.

I look forward to more chapters.

Well, knowing Garrett, he could always use magic to improvise for his tools.
How tall is your character in this? I was reading and I wasn't sure, is he Celestia's or Luna's height.

4240137 I said he was tall, this being due to him not being from Equestria and also the reason his personality is a bit off (or very off) is because he just went through a biological change that probably shouldn't be possible, that and his armor kinda fused with his body during the change, and to boost he's got the Old Garret from the original games (now not giving as much F*cks because being dead for a long time does that to you) and Princess Luna in his head...not very good for his sanity. Oh as for the tools, I did think about that, but then factored in several things: ONE: Canonically it states that unicorns have magical out-burst when young and maturing, he's a changeling so yes, I'm going to have to elaborate (in chapter two) on the difference. point being is that he's not used to magic in this world; note that I count his natural 'swoop' ability as magic, since he basically pulls the shadows and lack of light with him. TWO: He just arrived, and no one ever taught him how to use his magic, I know it's a natural thing, but explaining magic and how to harness it to a person (or equine in this case) who never used it before is like trying to explain colors to a blind man: what is blue? what is red? "It's...umm....hmmm....yeah...sorry there." THREE: while most magic is seemingly simple (Telekinesis mostly) I'm going to Assume that forming shapes out of pure energy is extremely hard, assuming that teleporting is an advanced skill (as only Twilight does it.) and like before, he has no training (so far) and finally FOUR: I'm trying to keep true to the spirit of Garret, that being; he lives to steal, not to survive; he finds the harder the job, the more rewarding the feeling. It's a hobby to him, and he believes that it's his purpose in life, he even acknowledges that, and says (not a direct quote) "I'm no hero." (actually that might be a direct quote). He relishes the idea that he can used the shadows, his tools, and his wits to get what he wants, how he wants, and to vanish. Also the Garret displayed here is the "Ghost" play-style, due to that being the one I did first.

Any other questions....and before you leave, should I just Write a thing about the laws of my fics that will be related to all of them, or just keep it in here? ANY way, any questions, just leave a comment and I will reply when I see them,
Thanks!

Gotta admit, wasn't expecting that big of an answer but I'm got a few other things on my mind. True no one could give him lessons in magic but who's to say that while Luna stays in his subconscious, she could teach him. Though, will three minds prove too taxing for our thief in this story?

Also, I think Garret being the witty man/changeling he is would develop a feel for magic or use it in a dire situation. For example, he's being chased by the guards (who have never been useful to date), his body would naturally shape shift without him being consciously aware of it. I would think it would develop with time by itself but as you have stated, this would be very difficult for him to do.

I am glad you didn't turn him into the bland hero type who does crap for the sake of "justice". That's refreshing. Just keep the laws of your fics in here, it'll be more exciting that way, IMO.

4245255 that...was good thought fuel, and with our Garret being able to 'switch' over, I may just have the 'Luna' personality take over when magic is needed or using just the fact of pure primal (see what i did there) instinct. And yes, Garret will eventually be able to use the Primal, though he won't use it in as many forms as I personally would like him to, but I want to keep to his character more than that.
Oh, and Old Garret is going to be the only 'permanent' resident of our Garret's mind....but..................RAVE IN GARRET'S MIND!!! WOOOHHHHOOOO!
Thanks again for the brain food mate.

4245351 If there is a rave in his head, I wonder who has to clean up later? And then it there is the problem with Luna hooking up with 'dad' and Garret being introduce to his new mom, all awkwardness for the win.

4263851 Yes...that gives me an idea....interesting...BE WARNED! (Thanks!)

4265910 Glad I could help make things a bit more awkward for someone. You're welcome!

Happy Easter!
and while I wish I could've gotten the chapter out today, I did get 2K in, so anyway, ENJOY YOUR HOLIDAY...THIS IS LATE...

newchapter but locked?

although i dislike you had him turned into a pony/changling i still like thief cross overs so im gonna give this a chance

To all, sorry about the locked chap, I was tired and was going to edit it...but hit the pub button instead. So I'm just going to open the chap and you can watch as I work on it. Sorryz

4306490 Thanks for giving this a chance. Oh, and the whole Species change is due to a Dimensional shift Theory of mine, which itself is part of my infinite Dimension theory, and infinite events theory...so many theories....so many...

Aw, I like how Luna and Ghost are getting along. I wonder how long it will be before Celestia sits down with Garret about his 'father's' intention for her sister.

4652571 ...yeah, I figured growing up with Twilight...he'd end up at least kinda brilliant...or a smartass...something along those lines.
