One human, life incredibly boring and depressing, has turned to My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic for comfort. The show is his only provider of any sort of happiness in his life. One night he has a crazy thought: what if Equestria were real? Any place would be better than living his current life. And it just so happens that a link between the two worlds might be possible.
But this isn't the first time communication between the two worlds has been tried. And the truth about the past might not be revealed until it's too late.

This is my first My Little Pony related fan fiction. I’m not new to the writing scene (I do have a short story published), but having gotten into ponies recently, I’ve found that just don’t have any inspiration when it comes to normal stories. So I figured, why not combine my two loves: writing and ponies!
I hope you enjoy this introduction to my first story. Keep in mind, this story is labeled “Tragedy” and “Sad” for a reason. I won’t spoil anything, but yeah, just keep that in mind.
Anyways, enough from me. I would love to hear what you think about my story! If you see any errors, please point them out!

…and I love it. All trolling aside; a very promising start to a fic! I enjoyed it.
I haven't even read the the story yet, but judging by the description, this reeks with mary-sueism and cliche.
I might read it sometime later.

Hey, got another chapter up! Sorry it took so long, I've been real busy the past few weeks.
First off, I did a little bit of editing to the old chapters, just fixing up a couple of grammatical errors here and there. Thanks to Bronymaster for those tweaks.

Yeah, I am very aware of how late I am with the new chapter. I recently moved, literally, across the country and have had very little time to write between unpacking and job hunting. But don't fret, I will finish it soon! Promise!
Wow. Yeah. So, words. No words. No words to apologize for the long wait. I hope my new one shot will serve as a good enough apology, but I still feel bad. Life became insane. You know how it goes.
But. Get this. Chapter 7, the final chapter, is 60% done. The beginning is done, the ending is mapped out, all that's left is creating and writing the middle and writing the ending. I ain't making any promises, but I will finish this story. I will, darn it. I'm not naive enough to believe you people still care about this little story, but I'm finishing it for myself more than I am for anyone else.
