There were some scenes in this chapter I really liked, especially Octave's bath and wearing more comfortable clothes with Record Scrape. I like both Octave's and Record's names by the way.
While having a different birth assignment and being a bit more binary (but not fully), I could relate quite a bit to Octave's dysphoria.

I found a very short genderqueer fic and two bigender fics some time ago (none of them are on fimfiction), which you can find on my user page. But yes, there are not very many non-binary trans ponies in fics out there, so I am very glad to see this story here. Hmm, I should probably change that once I get my current story list done. Not exactly entirely binary myself and would like to seem more representation. Will definitely not be as good as this one.
I'm gender-neutral myself and exploring what that means to me, and I'm finding this story really compelling. My heart goes out to Octave. I'm very much looking forward to reading more about them.
