I remember voting for this. You should write two epilogues. One for each choice. Personally, I'd put odds on her choosing the Wonderbolts, but that is based on her memories reconciling.

3334380 That's a good suggestion. The contest judges' comments were hopeful that I would expand some of the scenes and continue the feel-filled story, so I'm considering doing that. I might do the two possible outcomes, but on the other hand, she is Loyalty. Would she leave Pinkie Pie like that? This will require a lot of thought.

Well on some level her leaving Pinkie must be possible or the Element would prevent the wish from happening.

You could play with the idea two ways.
1. Her loyalty simply shifted to the Wonderbolts
or
2. Just being an Element Bearer doesn't lock you to it for the rest of your life. Ponies change. Their priorities shift. That is life. Few people stay the same forever.

3334439 Some magics are more powerful than the Elements. She's been forced out of her loyalty before, but as soon as the spell was broken, she was instantly back to her old self. That's really what's happened here; when she wakes up, the spell has ended. She's her old self, just after obtaining what she wished for. So the others have moved on to one extent or another, but she hasn't. The question she has to answer is: is it worth it?

That is a tough question. How much time off does she get? What is the salary and benefits. Friends are nice and all but the Princess isn't helping you pay your bills.
