The True Creator of Equestria

Prologue

Equestria, a magical place where there is happiness and love spread throughout the land.

Who am I? Don't know, used to have a name, but since I became who I am now, I found it pointless. Doesn't matter anyway, no one sees me. Not even when I come out of my house. Usually I'd stay in the shadows, watching the ponies go about their business bored out of my mind. There is the odd conversation that would get me interested, but the ones that did so the most were questions such as, "How was the world created?"

The answer to that is simple, "From a big ball of unstable magic."

Of course, nopony has ever figured out the answer to this question. The only reason I know is because I created that big ball of magic over ten thousand years ago. I created this world. The grass, the water, the ponies, the animals, magic, you name it. if it's on this planet, I made it. Of course, I mean physically.

We all know the one who created the my little pony franchise, and that was Lauren Faust, and her husband for creating the idea for MLP. All I did was bring it to life. Literally.

Now you're thinking, how did a 15 year old man get the power to do all these things? The answer? God, or at least, a God.

There is an old legend that states, "When the time is right, the gods will choose one Mortal, to represent themselves. One time only can this be done, and when chosen, can't be taken away." I thought it was complete bull, but on my 15th birthday, I was gifted with these powers and since that day, I still don't know why I was.

However, just because that this world is full of love, and happiness, doesn't mean that there are no disasters. Some are natural disasters that I can control and prevent before anypony finds out that there is a higher power working from the shadows. Wars are a in a whole new element however. Thankfully

The most recent one would be the Solar War where Princess Celestia raised the sun, 8 hours late, causing the entire world to lose track of time. This ended up as a full scale war between all of the countries of the world, all sharing one enemy. The ponies. Putting aside their differences, they teamed up to form an alliance. After 3 months, Princess Celestia offered them a deal.

The deal was that Equestria would no longer be the name of the planet, but the name of the country where the ponies could live in peace. After much argument, they finally decided on the amount of land that would be divided. Unfortunately, she ended up with a small plot of land for her ponies but that didn't matter to Celestia. Her subjects were happy, and if they were happy, she was happy.

This all happened 100 years after Luna's banishment.

During my life here in Equestria, I figured out that one day, they would find out about my existence. It seems that today is the day.

In hindsight, draining an area of all its magic to build a better house than a cottage in the everfree forest would probably not go unnoticed.

So, here it is, the rewrite.

I still think I could have done better on this prologue, so I'm probably going to edit this sometime in the near future.

This also got me thinking, I really need an editor.

you should probably get rid of the announcement cause its unneeded now and this starts differently than the original one
oh and when you do the chapter were we had him talking to that one god when he got his powers say something about it being told in the original that was deleted so people who read the one before this started anew dont have to reread it

Honestly, it's your story. But after ten thousand years he finally decided build a bigger house. Also, being ten thousand years old, wouldn't he be smart enough not to do somthing that would get him caught like that?
