Shining Armor insists that Twilight and her friends have royal guards to protect them from a rising threat. Much to Twilight's horror, the leader of this group of guards is non other then Flash Sentry. However, there is more then meets the eye when it comes to these particular guards. Friendships are formed and even some romance sparks.

Ships include Applejack/Flim, Twilight/Flash, Pinkie Pie/Cheese Sandwich, Fluttershy/Big Mac, and RainbowDash/Soarin. Rarity also gets a love interest as well as some minor ones in the background

Equestria had fallen into a famine. The crops had failed, the rivers and lakes had dried up, and there were no other food sources. The country was on the brink of starvation, with ponies dying every day.

It appeared hopeless. There was nothing that could be done to save them. But then, Twilight came across an ancient, dark magic spell, a spell that could end the famine once and for all.

And although the spell took away their will to eat, i did not take away their need too...

50 years after the beginning of the Steampunk Revolution had begun. 40 years after it evolved. 20 years after the fall of the Celestial Republic at the hands of the Crystal Empire. With a tyrant queen in control of both Equestria and the Crystal Empire; an rebellion has been formed to beat this evil. The daughter of the creator of the Steampunk Revolution who is the key to stopping this war has vanished. In case it wasn't obvious already, this story is based off of the 1995 sci-fi film 12 Monkeys. It will be more enjoyable if you're familiar with the movie. Unlike the movie, which is rated R, this story is for everyone. If it should be changed to Teen, please let me know so I can change it. The general storyline is the same, but most events are modified and some plot points are omitted completely.

This is my second fic. I thought of this concept after seeing the movie recently, and I couldn't resist writing it. Overall, this is meant to be comedic in nature. I'm not entirely sure if this type of story is accepted here, but I thought I'd give it a shot. I'm not sure whether or not this applies to the 'Crossover' category.

Twilight has known the Doctor since she was little, but wasn't meant to be with this regeneration. This one is Ditzy's, and that's what keeps her moving on.
