Rainbow Dash has been suffering from recurring nightmares. Each time she closes her eyes, the dreams get more and more horrific. So far she's been able to hide them from most of her friends, but that all changes when she wakes up screaming in Sweet Apple Acres. Now, it's a race against time, with Dash's very life and sanity on the line. But what is causing her horrible night terrors, and how can they be stopped? It's going to take a bit of Pinkie Pie ingenuity, a little Zebra and Alicorn magic, and a very special kind of loyalty to save the cerulean speedster. A kind of loyalty most ponies know, as love.

Rarity is angry at Rainbow Dash for stranding her and Pinkie Pie in the Badlands. Very angry. At Twilight's suggestion, the rest of their friends convince the bickering duo to take a trip to Las Pegasus in the hope that spending a couple of fun days there will help form truce between the two.

The city, however, offers infinitely more than that...

Spike's birthday has been declared an official state holiday of the Crystal Empire, and Rainbow Dash has the most awesome of presents in mind... and a Sonic Rainboom is only the beginning...

Takes place during Season 4, in between "Simple Ways" and "Testing, Testing, 1, 2, 3". Mildly AU, since for story purposes Spike finds out he's a hero in the Crystal Empire prior to "Equestria Games". Otherwise, this is canon-compatible.

This is a potentially-one-off story about an alicorn disguised as an earth pony. Unfortunately, alicorn magic doesn't like to be suppressed and must be let out once in a while so it doesn't explode.

Join some unnamed alicorn OC pony as they burn off some excess energy while trying to avoid detection.
