It's a normal day in Ponyville, and Twilight is looking through her books. She finds an odd book, and upon opening it, she blacks out. At first all seems fine, but she has yet to discover what madness she unleashed.

Twilight has a few screwups and a lot of ponies get high and the general I.Q drops 3 points.
Muffins act as Twilight's drug concealer, but she has to first steal the muffins from Derpy.

When a world that has known centuries of chaos, disharmony and suffering ended its last great war, peace did not guarantee everyone's survival. With everyone struggling to pick up the pieces, some are forgotten. Starvation of both the body and spirit threaten to continue the suffering. With time running out, the lives of a young refugee and a resourceful Pegasus pilot become intertwined as they teach each other about the power of family, friendship and hope in the darkest of times.

The first chapter is a memory of the refugee but the subsequent chapters are all letters and journals written by the pilot she came to know as Ditzy. As Ditzy and her friends travel the land, she records their deeds, thoughts and the lessons she learns from them about each of the elements required to bring harmony to the world.

Derpy Hooves wants to be a normal mare with friends and family, but more then that, she craves the scenery of Equestria and it's beauty. Throughout her life's journey she meets and loses many friends and family members, and when it becomes time to make an important decision, poor little Derpy might lose herself to her mind.
