All of the populated cities and towns around Equestria are being protected from the blizzard by a spell cast by the Princesses. However, the spell will not last for a long time. Only a few ponies are brave enough to go outside and look for an answer, hopefully stopping the storm before it's too late.
Unfortunately, it's not Hearth's Warming Eve.

A mysterious figure is lurking in the shadows of Equestria, and it is planning something big. Can the mane 6 find out who or what it is? And stop it's plan?

I post on /mlp/ first and here second. As such, story is in greentext format somewhat, but I write multiple sentences per line. Even still, I've made an attempt to format it for here, but understand that if the odd line/paragraph appears short, that's why.

Anonymous, as he is known in Planet Pastel Pony, is a scientist at heart. Immediately upon entering the land of Equestria, he realized that physics and fundamental laws of the universe were different, the most jarringly obvious being magic. To his dismay, the ponies had no knowledge of what magic truly was, and never attempted to find out.

Twilight, however, is aware of an unfinished project of Starswirl the Bearded, of which only rumors existed even thousands of years ago when he still lived. Anon convinces her to journey with him to the remote tower, to find this research and perhaps the answers to other mysteries.

Upon arriving, they find a massive complex beneath the humble tower, unknown to historians everywhere. It is here that Anon believes he will find the answers to his questions...

One, bright morning, birds were chirping, the sun was rising beautifully, and Jason was... Asleep. His alarm did not go off like he wanted it to, and so, as he rose from his slumber, he rushed. Quickly he went through the house, gathering the necessary tools for the day. Known as his books. Once he was situated, he took the closest RTA bus, going to the single-most hated place in his mind. School. Filled with preppy, snotty, repulsive humans who know nothing about the word kindness. As he arrived, Jason met up with his friend Ezekiel, the only being worth mentioning in his head. They ate breakfast, talked for a little while, and then the two set off into the courtyard to finish their conversation alone. Once the two were fully immersed in this back and forth, Jason got up to go use the bathroom. In the hallway, he spotted a crease in one of the posters on the wall. He hated it, since it was something against the use of glue. So, he decided to tear it down, of course making sure nobody was around to witness. As the poster folded back, a light had shown through the hole. How come he never saw this before? Why was it appearing to him now? Jason reached for his phone to snag a photo, but his hand slipped and the phone fell forward. And he, of course, fell into it. He blacked out, and when he came to, spears were held at his throat, his vision was blurred, and he was wondering what kind of people would do this. As his eyes started to recalibrate, he could see that these weren't people. But, bloody horses! He looked at himself briefly, and all he could see was a set of hooves, and this weird marking on his rump. What the heck is going on here?!

Everyone has fears! But not everybody has to face them this way......The question for me is.......will I make it out alive?! Why did they put me through this....do they hate me........are they just trying to get rid of me? Am I that worthless.....?

This story is a sequel to Carina and Jon

When Jon least expects it, his original prediction has potentially come true as one night, Carina doesn't return from Headrest Centre. And without Carina, police can't investigate the mall for any evidence. But maybe Jon's Kima AV Blade 5 could help him find out what happened. Meanwhile, a starving Carina has found herself in some weird structure that somehow closes and opens holes on its own, like it's alive.
