Compendium of Steve

The One Who Writes. Intermittently, Without Fail.

Sequels1

E

This story is a sequel to Rare-ified

Ever since the night of the town-wide music video shoot, Rarity had been acting rather odd. Ponies have noticed her looking somewhat unnerved, glancing over her shoulder from time to time. She passes it off as nothing whenever asked, and just goes about her business like normal afterward. But what could be making her so uneasy? What troubles plague her mind? And why won't she tell anyone about them?

...Discorded Doctor using his time lord persuasion powers to mess with people? :unsuresweetie: It's an okay uh... "story," I guess. Miku is a bit too Sueish.

Pretty good followup.

Of course she is. Have you seen her fanbase? ;P
(Though I was hoping more for a "pushy" attitude, if you get what I'm saying)

Honestly, when someone claims to be a fan of a character whose entire sum total of her personality is "a list of recorded phoenemes" I tend to find excuses to be somewhere else, so no I haven't really seen her fanbase.

Even Mario has more personality. :facehoof:

The internet is so whimsically and fascinatingly confounding at times (ie ALL the time)

Yeah, Vocaloid songs can get pretty dark extremely fast. Someone should have told Rarity, because that would leave me paranoid too.

Well, actually I already am as far as her case goes.:fluttershysad:

Well it was sprung upon her without warning, but even so, it's kinda funny how hyped fans get over all these songs with depressing, sometimes disturbing lyrics. At least there's cheery vocals and instruments to make up for it! :D

7430836 That's probably it. It's called "lyrical dissonance" and I know I enjoy songs like that. Two of my favorites are by Bastille "Things We Lost in the Fire" and "Pompeii".
