This fanfiction [chapters 1-3 and unpublished finale] predates half of the season 2 and all the 3rd, I added relevant details later.

After earthquake the strange lake was discovered in the mountains near Equestria. Rainbow Dash was first to discover it, and find out the strange effect its water has on ponies. Unfortunately for her, after other ponies found this lake, it became obvious that her old, weird secret can't be a secret anymore.

When indulging in his special time, Big Macintosh learns the true meaning of obediance.

Pentameter is a poet with dreams of going to Canterlot. His wish comes true... But doesn't go as well as he'd hope.

A group of bandits have been running amok in the West causing damage and murdering innocent settlers. After an attack on Appaloosa and his farm, Big Mac has had enough. Packing his things, he heads out on what he knows to be a long and dangerous road. The West had to be tamed, and Big Mac is the pony for the job.

Princess Celestia and Big Mac have been together for a little while, meeting secretly in the orchard. When Granny Smith finds out, will it be the last mistake she ever makes? Crazy revelations and unbelievable plot twists abound in this extremely short story.

The Apple Family (all except little Apple Bloom) look down upon those who are gay. Now that Granny Smith and Big Mac have told everypony they're "queers", everypony hates them. To get away from these harsh ponies, Rarity and Applejack run away to the Everfree Forest, facing countless journeys to get to the "happy land."

Applebloom has been killed and Silph could do nothing about it, and Big Macintosh is a mess because of it. However, that could change when Silph travels to Equestria to try to fix everything.

Meanwhile, two seemingly unrelated ponies sense something isn't right in the town. Somepony is here who isn't supposed to be here, and they're probably just as angry as Big Mac is.
