First in the side stories, we have New Stats written as a speedwrite entry for the Quills and Sofas 2024 Twist contest, and placing in 3rd.

In New Stats, Chrysalis has just been defeated in the Canterlot Invasion, and is licking her wounds. Warning, there is a tonal shift in this story, which takes it quite firmly off the rails.

Years after the reformation of the changelings, Twilight and the others visit the crystal empire, to find themselves in over their head yet again after Flurry heart is kidnapped by an unknown changeling who somewhat resembles the newly-reformed Thorax.

I would consider myself the average guy. I don't try to stand out, I'm not particularly good at any one thing, and I don't really have many goals and aspirations that are out of my reach. In all honesty, I live a very comfortable life.

I play video games, read, and enjoy the presence of other people from time to time. Most of my time is spent at work and the money is usually eaten by bills and our favorite “Uncle”. But there's nothing to complain about.

But on one particular day, everything seemed to turn itself upside down. You see, there was talks of a new disease coming through that didn't happen naturally. Or at least, that's what was speculated. I for one am a firm believer that the earth was trying to preform a hard reset.

I digress. The disease quickly became known as the Mutaginic disease. The details are a bit blurry, but the long run of it is that it changes your physical structure to that of animals or abominations. Sometimes you get power, sometimes you're stuck with wings that don't work. It all just depends.

But in order to save some of humanity, thousands of people were chosen to be out under to try and out sleep this new disease. They made a bunch of us sign papers and waivers to try and be the last of humanity and all that.

When I was approached, I couldn't believe it. But I gladly accepted despite the fact that I wouldn't see my friends and family anymore. And when the day came where everything came to a head, we were put to sleep and made to wait.

So.... Why is it that when I wake up, everyone is gone and there is a horse staring at me with wonder?

This is a one shot that's been going on in my mind. If anybody wants to see this continued if it receives enough appeal, I'll consider it.

A young Apple wants to die because of all of her dreams did not come true. She has lost faith to what she has really wanted. An alicorn wishes that same faith too, but he found out you have to understand what went wrong, because death can't be your escape.

A year after the Friendship Festival and, quite recently, after a Queen Chrysalis attack, Tempest Shadow surprises Twilight with her return to Equestria. Her return sparks outrage from everyone in Equestria, especially the families she affected most. They give Twilight an ultimatum: three days to sentence her to life in prison or letting them drive her out for good.
Their newfound love for each other adds more pressure on Twilight's already exhausted wings. She could follow her heart's desire and keep Tempest out, or succumb to their demands and lock her crush away forever. Tempest is dealing with her own battles: trying to find her lost parents, old friends reunifications, and trying to prove to herself and all of Equestria that she really has changed.
Beyond all of this, in the farthest reaches of the world, lies a dark figure waiting for their time to strike....

Rewrite of my old story.

Script Singer sent a letter to her friends, saying she is going to kill herself. Lily finds it, and frantically tries to get help. Will they be able to save her?

In a world where 12 nations rule all and worship the stars, there is a darker secret between the 12 leaders of the horoscope nations. Each sector has their own rules and styles and way of life. You will only ever be allowed to have a romantic interest in other signs who are compatible with you. Everyone else is forbidden. Everyone in their sector is different, but yet is pressured to act the same. The leaders must show no desire to be in any relationship, compatible or not, to be able to properly make the best decisions without complicated emotions getting in the way. So what will happen when two leaders fall in love? How will they be able to hold that secret, as well as the many others that the leaders are hiding from the subjects?

I won't go into too much detail about how this will work, but I do not want anyone to feel worse anxiety or depression if you have either of these illnesses. Also, keep in mind that everybody has different points of view on their sign and the others. I'm going off of my own view of what I've seen on my own, and all the other different signs.
