Red Cross's sire isn't like the rest of Ponyville. Actually, he's pretty much the exact opposite of the rest. A changeling! Married happily to his wife, Redheart. Now, it turns out they've known each other since they were kids, and it just so happened to come together following a rambunctious and totally-legal-and-not-at-all-unsupervised-recklessness-of-young-ponies period of life.

This is the collection of stories pertaining to Red Cross's family, more specifically catering to the moments he shared with his father, Aspero.

- Content note: In addition to the tags-- references to intercourse (which does not take place). 'Tragedy' nearly suits this as a tag... but should it be swapped with 'Dark' or 'Comedy' since there is a three tag limit? Tagging presented a difficult decision.

- Not a crossover with Mary Shelley's Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus (an early Sci-Fi story), but thematically and titularly adjacent!

It’s hard not doing anything. Harder still when the patient is dying in front of you. But sometimes nothing is the best thing that can be done. Nurse Redheart has to sit with a dying patient so his last moments aren’t alone.

Every winter, Nurse Redheart leaves behind the sterile rooms of Ponyville General to join in a celebrated tradition: dogsled racing to the Northernmost-point of Equestria. Forming the infamous team Redjacks with her girlfriend Roseluck,  Redheart aims to settle the score with rival Lone Raider in this year’s contest: the catch is that with one sick dog, she’ll have to settle for an untrained, unproven replacement.
