This made me laugh:

On the 13th of September, the World of Riders celebrates "Kaixa Day", to remind all the Kamen Riders and Riders-to-be not to be like Masato Kusaka, and use their powers for truly good purposes.
Kaixa Day celebrations traditionally start in the evening, with the burning of an effigy of Kaixa, and the scooping of its ashes into small bags. Every child under 13 is given a bag of these ashes to carry, where they trade bits of this ash for treats.

While we wait for Part 4 to debut, here's a small chapter's worth of bonus material!
(it is highly recommended to read Parts 1 through 3 beforehand, of course)
I don't think I've told anyone before, but the best argument I know for some "spiritual" dimension to life is an experience I had myself. As I have been an outspoken atheist "materialist" for many years, it seems incumbent on me, in the name of fair play, to record it, though it doesn't reflect well on me. As it was one of the events which "Shut Up" is based on, now seems as good a time as any.
The Forgotten Who Still Remembers, by Elusith
This story came third in our line-up for stories that placed during the contest, and I like to think it deserved that placement. It's an easy story to read, at least, since it's writing is pretty decent. Nothing bad jumps out at me, and the spelling and grammar is adequate. It was a solid read, at least.
What are ponies made of? The other day, I picked up a brushable Pinkie Pie doll sitting on my desk, and, being a curious person, decided to investigate. It’s actually difficult to answer this with 100% confidence. Plastics can be impossible to distinguish unless you have access to an x-ray fluorescence analyser, or mass spectrometer, or something similar.
For stories like...
...and another story soon to be posted, or maybe already posted when you see this:
Since I've read all the stories and got my notes firmly on a gdoc in front of me, I'm going to launch those reviews I promised tonight. Because I happened to like this one, I decided to start with Constellations.
After a lot of messing around with the PFA and Fimfic epub exporters, then the internal html and index files, the style sheet file, and alll the chapter title images, I managed to convert The Daily Unlife to epub and pdf format.
Be warned, though: this is the full edition of The Daily Unlife, meaning, including the Explicit-rated Night Eight
There's not much to say about this one. At one chapter in it barely makes it past 1K words, and there simply isn't enough of the story for it to be satisfying. It's not even anachronistic as of yet, since only one scene was written, and that scene was told within chronological order.
Deleted. Sorry. It was clear from the comments that my post made my circumstances sound harsher than they were.
Anger.
Frustration.
Sleepiness.
That is pretty much the order of operations for whenever I try to be creative. Which means it's time to get angry.
Stay creatively frustrated.

New Particle Gadgeteering post: Dark Matter Detectors and Philip Pullman’s His Dark Materials.
Hello there! Welcome to my first blog post.
Hello, everyone. This blog post is a bit different from the usual 'I'm doing something in a weird way, feed me attention' kind I'm used to. This time, I'm trying to draw attention to a new group me and a few other users I'm used to working with have made, who's purpose in life is to create challenges and events for writers of all walks of life to enjoy.
