So, initially, I had planned to release “Grading on a Bell Curve,” the next short story involving Sunset Shimmer in the alternate timeline set up in Applications, last Monday. When I had an “emergency vacation,” that threw off my timetable quite a bit. So I retargeted it for this Monday.
Notice how it takes a lot of positivity to get through a day, but a little negativity can bring down something big. It really depends what that negativity is directed at and who. A normal person would shrug that negativity off. A timid person would take that negativity as a hurtful object in their life. Same with ratings on fanfictions. If you have 10 likes but 4 dislikes, it makes an impact. Those 4 dislikes alone could wipe your story off the radar for good. It's like

Yesterday, I made my first proper step to preparing to enter the world of work. I spoke to a careers advisor at college, and decided on a career path for myself -- library or archive work. Having done some volunteer work at my college library earlier this year, I can say that I found it a pleasant and genuinely enjoyable experience. I'm delayed in a number of projects at the moment.
Right now I'm grading midterms and dealing with a resurgence in pain after some dental work a few weeks back. I also just had minor surgery but that no longer hurts at least.
Currently I have a DROD hold I'm planning to release in a week or two, but as far as pony projects go there are delays.
I got an 84 on the final :D
Well, technically I got a 72 but then I took it again (I had 3 attempts) and got an 84
So now I have a 78 overall in Calculus (a C+ but it's fucking CALCULUS so I don't mind that much, I care only that I passed and I can go on to Calc III since I have above a C)

AnthrOhio is this weekend, which is also the weekend I need to grade exams. Most of the grading will be Sunday and Monday (the deadline is Monday midnight) but I'll be doing some work tomorrow as well.
