Delays and Such · 7:09pm Feb 27th, 2018
I'm delayed in a number of projects at the moment.
Right now I'm grading midterms and dealing with a resurgence in pain after some dental work a few weeks back. I also just had minor surgery but that no longer hurts at least.
Currently I have a DROD hold I'm planning to release in a week or two, but as far as pony projects go there are delays.
For the video game, I'm too slow with pixel editing and there's too many things to edit. I need to find a good pixel artist who is a brony. If you know somepony who would do this, please put me in touch with them.
For the secret megaproject, it's just motivation.
For writing projects, I have a number of irons in the fire and am uncertain where to focus my scattered energies. I don't know if I'll complete GaPJaxie's contest or not, even though I have a story I'm working on for it.
My plan is to ask my patrons what they want me to focus on again (in terms of hoers-words). So now would be a good time to pledge $1 to my Patreon account if you'd like a vote (or $5 if you want two votes, though that's just crazy-pants and ponies usually don't wear those).
Just remember, if grading stress gets too bad a relaxing bonfire might help.

Any special reason why the pixel artist MUST be a brony? As long as they do good work and are willing to work on your project, isn't that enough?

They'll need to make pixel art that closely ties into the show without crossing the legal line. To do the art they'll need to know a great deal about the show's characters. So if they're not a brony, they would need to study up on FiM anyway.
And in general, I feel like the result will be better if it's somepony who already loves the show. But no, it's not absolutely necessary.
Have you tried Mr. Poniator? I know he does some pixel art
