On any day that's slow and boring, I play with these two to lighten the mood and to get the punkness flowing. But on this day, yesterday, I brought everything but a pick. I had to resort to using a Gordon's Gin stirring stick as a pick, and it was awkward. And my amp exploded with static. Scared me and hurt my ears. 
On March 31st, after about a month's work on a secret project, Silk Rose and I published a 1 chapter story titled "This Story Will Explode In 24 Hours". Over the course of those 24 hours the story was updated on a strict schedule, until finally, after a long wait at zero hours and zero minutes, the exploding story...
... didn't.
Keeping it short and sweet so I can get back to Chapter 19. I am nearing completion of the first draft, and I wanna get it done ASAP.
SO! Yesterday afternoon, when my boyfriend got home from work, he grabbed a package that had arrived from Amazon and went into our room... Then after a moment or two, he called me in...

This time, however, Rusty and Jewel aren't caught up in the aftermath of the war against Sombra, but instead the eruption of the Canterlot supervolcano!
Oh, neat. We've got a canceled story focusing on a pair of OCs that were reused from the canceled sequel to another story.
Also, long delay between posts is long. I'm feeling moderately annoyed by stuff going on at the moment so let's keep this short.
"Jewel?" I yawned, wiping my face with a towel hanging by the garage door as I entered the house. "You feel like eating out somewhere, or should I heat up yesterday's leftovers?"
And then they get food poisoning.
She was running. Where to, she wasn't sure.
She had to make it. Had to reach her.

IN WHICH I AM SLIGHTLY STUCK
You ever have that feeling where you're halfway through a story when you realize it's crap and you have no choice but to scrap the whole thing and start over with a better idea? Well, that's where I'm at right now on the Mayor Mare story I have to finish by Saturday. Follow me past the jump for more tidbits.

I HAVE BEEN DRY-HUMPING MY LAPTOP FOR THE LAST TWO HOURS BECAUSE I NEED TO SHOW MY LOVE FOR THIS EPISODE IN SOME KIND OF WAY. I STOLE MY ROOMMATE'S IPAD, I WENT TO YOUTUBE, I SELECTED THE EPISODE, AND THEN I SHOVED THE IPAD UP MY ASSHOLE.

and it was well worth the 2 hours it took.
There are 3 scenes that really stood out to me. The first is the remote-controlled cars scene, where they were moving through the streets like a freaking buffalo stampede. It was crazy, and awesome, and really inventive. I wish Transformers could do something similar, have an army of Decepticons tear down a road in vehicle form. Now that would be scary.
GuyWithAmp is the bomb defuser, and I'm the bomb expert. Watch two idiots panic as they try to defuse a timed explosive and talk about things that can only be spoken of in closets.

I have a new story that stands no chance of being on the front page, because I unpublished it for two days when the contest was extended. That saddens me. It's very personal and I want you to read it.
