Taking a Break from my Flow State to Tell you Chapter 18 is Up · 3:24am April 6th
Keeping it short and sweet so I can get back to Chapter 19. I am nearing completion of the first draft, and I wanna get it done ASAP.
Real quick though. Were you all around for that that bomb of a fic on April Fool's Day? If you missed out, then you really missed out for that once-in-a-fandom moment here on Fimfic. If you were around for that, be sure to check out PsuedoBob's and Silk Rose's blog posts regarding the creation of the fic. Bob goes into detail about the experience, which I was happy to hang out during the insanity on Discord with him and a few mutual friends in Discord. Rose dives into the coding and what went into make it a reality, which I understand in the barest sense having been exposed to coding in school and college. Hits above the pay grade of my Bachelor's for sure. Head over to those and check it out. They also have a Q&A thread here if you want to ask either of them questions or just shower them with well-deserved praise.
Anyway, the muse hasn't left me yet, and I need to capitalize on it while the writing's good, especially with this Final Fantasy Lo-Fi video I found today. Has some of my favorite songs from the franchise, including the brilliant Besaid Island theme. If you wanna listen along to what I'm enjoying, give it a watch. Came out a week ago apparently and the views are criminally low for how relaxing it is if you are casual lo-fi enjoyer like I am.
Dang, this blog has boiled down to me just telling you do everything but read Chapter 18...
Anyway, go read Chapter 18. It's up, it's ready, and I'll be in the comments eventually to respond to your support as always after I get 19 ready for review.
