I might be late to the party on this one, but YES! YES! YES!

For any of you metalheads out there, you might know that the hit band Disturbed is back from their five years hiatus. Along with their return they have brought the album "Immortalized" and along with that album, they did a cover of The Sound of Silence.
And it is the most beautiful damn thing I've ever heard in my entire life. I can't wait to see them in May.
So you haven't heard from me for a while. And that's why first I would like to apologize.
For those of you waiting for an update "The Herd Evolved", I've got good news and bad news. Bad news: It's on hiatus. The reason for this is me looking at chapter 4. And I hate it, and I want to rewrite it. However, my inspiration comes in waves, and I can't say how soon that will be. I don't want to make false promises or anything.
My thoughts on Sounds of Silence, in a nutshell.
... but I at least want to be clear about where I stand.
So, anyone who has NOT seen the season five finale, I advise you to leave right now. Likewise, if you are not caught up to date on Echoing Silence, then I advise you to also go read it first so that you can understand bits of what I'm trying to say below without spoiling the story so far.
Ahem, now that the warning has been made, I can talk freely.
Well, title says it all, really. To those who are only now just watching me: I don't follow episodes as they come out. I like to binge watch several episodes in a row. The reasons for this are varied: I don't want to get a new idea to write out and then get distracted by yet another new idea, I don't enjoy watching it on my laptop nearly as much as I do on TV and I can't watch it on TV with my parents home...
One to go and I never need to think about Season 8 again.
So I'm on Vacation right now and hoping to be back soon but in the mean time I had something I wanted to ask you all. It's been a while since I worked on Hero's Of Canterealm and I was wondering if any of you have had a look at it yet? I'm hoping to update it again soon but this brings me to my next question and a plea for help.
When I first saw the pilot to MLP, it kicked open doors inside my brain and broke down walls inside my heart. There was something uniquely magical about the sun and moon mythos in particular. It functioned on fairy tale logic - a type of storytelling that is specifically designed to tickle your subconscious and hit you somewhere primordial.
It's like running for miles and staying right where you started. Still, new Stories I'll (Probably) Never Write should be done either tomorrow or the day after, and I think I'll be working on Changing Tune, Here Comes The Sun, and possibly We Three: With You In Spirit next.

Thanks to a piece I published last week called Your Faithful Disciple, I happened to be put in the feature box for the first time since joining the site, which happened at this point very close to a decade ago. In that time, I’ve put out only a handful of stories, many of which sit unfinished. But being featured inevitably attracts attention—attention for which I am grateful, and which has translated into the form of a bevy of new followers. To you, I say welcome.
"I DREAM OF SILENCE AND SALVATION; DELIVERANCE FROM WORLDLY PAIN! BENEATH THE CLOAK OF SLEEP, BENEATH THE SOIL OF EARTH! RELEASE THE BLOOD AND SET ME FREE!
I WILL NOT SUFFER THE INDIGNITY OF LIFE!"
May be back from Day two at Fanexpo... where I found the people who called me "THE GOSPEL" (I don't let it go to my head)
they think MLP is awful too, I even told them about BB pulling off Flurry Heart's head... I got high fives for it.
Still... like I said... I don't really stop for anything!
Let's see how i'll penalize the ponies today.
Grading Scale:
A (fantastic episode)
A- (an excellent episode with at least one flaw)
B+ (a great episode with a couple of flaws)
B (a good episode which still could have been better)
I cannot at this time confirm or deny that I went 4-0 in the Guilds of Ravnica prerelease yesterday, nor can I confirm the existence of Guilds of Ravnica, House Dimir, Magic: the Gathering, or FanOfMostEverything. Also, I can see your browser history, and you should be ashamed of yourself.
Surveil shenanigans aside, let’s say hello to darkness, my old friend take a look at some deer-dragon-horses.
