Below I have linked the first chapter of a story that came to me in a dream. Set in the fictional city of Santa Josina, two girls are swept up in a battle between angels and demons. I wanted to post the synopsis and first chapter to get a feel for whether this idea is something readers would be interested in.
Description:
Man, what a year.
Know the quote unquote 'joke' right now is 'may it rot in hell,' but been really mixed for me, honestly.
The rest of this is a bit of a year chronicle for my own minds sake slash a mild rant. You're not interested? Happy New Year, hope to see you in 2021!
So, I have this idea for a game with the player races being, well... demons/devils (my thought is that devils are just a rank of demon, so a powerful demon would be given the title of devil).
While I have a few ideas, I thought I might go ahead and ask, what demonic creatures do you think would be great for player races? Please feel free to comment below with your answer and perhaps an explanation or even idea of how the race would work/play.
Have fun.
At times, we all have to face a demon of sorts. Sometimes, it's the most difficult thing we've ever had to do. The sheer thought if facing against something so awful just forces us from actually going through with it. But in even the roughest of times, those with the will to fight and stand for their own and those around them will always prevail, no matter how difficult the challenge really is.
So let's face our demons together.
tldr: Maxwell's Demon is a theoretical door that can make a enclosed system (insulated box, isolated room, etc) colder by letting colder molecules in, and blocking it when it tries to bounce out, and vice versa for hot molecules.
Nothing is this precise IRL.
Maybe magic
No idea what this can be used for. Bullshit tier heat engine?
So recently, I saw a friend of mine have a bit of a breakdown on the site. I won't put his business out there, but his predicament made me think about myself as a writer, and I have to apologize to those who are following Inner Demons II. You see, a while back, I started getting a lot of negative feedback concerning one of my main characters in the story, and the whole thing began to spiral out of my control.
Welp, running a bit behind on this one. Anyway, I have a pretty good idea what recommendation I'm going to give this one already, but let's see how it changes as I review it, shall we? Oh, and I added some footnotes because why not?
Hello, everybody!
Anyone who has read my latest chapter will know what this is about. For everyone else, I will explain again:
You have now the chance to pitch a character for my clopfic Tartarus on Equestria. This character will be playing a role in the next chapters and will present quite some trouble for our dear Twilight. There are some ground-rules, obviously.
First off a bit of humor. Starbound has left open beta and I've been playing it quite a bit. One thing that I just tried was the capture pods, basically more pokemon. You throw the pod at a critter or weakened monster and you catch it. The thing is, if the monster dies you have to heal it at a special station. This is where I mucked up: I captured a suicide monster, the bomb-balloon thing. So I throw the pod, and it immediately explodes on something. Talk about one of the dumbest things I
Soul Bound has a funny history.
The biggest mistake that EqG made was not making Sunset's demon form an eldritch horror. I know it's a kid's show, but the fact that they didn't show how horrifying the transformation was/could have been (outside of like her tears evaporating away as she transformed) really made Sunset's heel-face turn at the end of the movie… kind of less believable. Like even Sci-Twi's transformation felt more horrific? Even though she was painted as a tragic and unintentional antagonist rather than a
You thought this was about Pewdiepie, didn’t you? No! It’s about me! Di-Nick! Clickbaity, bad pun, and bad news.
My harddrive died. Total loss.

Hi, guys.
In case anyone's wondering at this point, don't worry. Of Humans & Demons is not dead, and neither am I.
As of this post, Chapter 1 is currently in progress, but since I'm about to finish up my internship and now on my final year in University, I have a lot on my plate to deal with. However, I will continue to write my story whenever I have the time, though I cannot promise that it will be done anytime soon.
So I've wandered off to Space engineers once more, and once more it's sucked me in. I'll be getting back to Sub soon, as I've had a few ideas and now know how to get over the latest hump, but let me learn you guys some things...
THINGS I'VE LEARNED ABOUT BUILDING SPACE SHIPS ON PLANETS:
1:unlike in space, if you don't lock it down, the ship will tip over while you're building it, leaving you angry and frustrated.
And here we have number one of the Outside Insight contest and my personal top pic!
Posts will go back to their weekly updates after this. Phew!
