First off a bit of humor. Starbound has left open beta and I've been playing it quite a bit. One thing that I just tried was the capture pods, basically more pokemon. You throw the pod at a critter or weakened monster and you catch it. The thing is, if the monster dies you have to heal it at a special station. This is where I mucked up: I captured a suicide monster, the bomb-balloon thing. So I throw the pod, and it immediately explodes on something. Talk about one of the dumbest things I could have caught...
Second: No, Substitute Demon is not dead, I've just had no motivation to write that story when I've been having so much fun with Twisted Fate. Next chapter of Twisted is going to make many of you cringe. Not because of something bad that happens, but because of what will be said. Again, the cringy-ness won't be innapropriate, but I guarantee some of you will facepalm/facedesk.
Third: Gencon is currently going on downtown and I will be there Saturday with my little sister. She's been to one other convention and in my opinion, it was a pretty weird and pitiful one( Indy Toy-con or something like that, the entire thing would have fit in a corner of one of the main halls at gen-con). I've got some stuff to grab, but I'll be trying to throw together a Rocket Grunt outfit using black or white clothes and red tape.
Gencon you say? I should come stalk you. Then again, I'd have to leave the house...is your sister single? ;O
suicide monster are also useful in certain conditions.

I've been playing a lot of Starbound as well (oh god I need to finish those bloody ship mods already, it's been weeks), but I really don't like how much they changed the story. Instead of the the old codexes, there were a few totally generic ones written up and the story is now just a make friends save world all is happy kind. I mean, Floran and Hyotyl were at war just recently and they had some awesome textboxes in cities for each other. And now it's boring as heck...
Not a rare ocurrence, I'm bad with cringe.
