With nothing new in the hopper (in the US, anyway,) it’s time to start tackling the EqG short backlog. Let’s see what four months has produced:
(Not too spoilery and not just this week’s MLP episode ;)

Dear Bronies and Pegasisters,
And Chapter 1 is out! I've rewritten chapter 1 of She Wore A Yellow Ribbon, and this time I didn't delete the old chapters in case you want to see how terrible they were before. I will keep them there, even though I intend to vastly change the story, just for historical purposes. It's good to see where you've come from, I believe. I also really wish I didn't delete the Girl I Left Behind Me one.
Anyway, as usual I hope you enjoy and if you're interested in being an editor, let me know. Thanks!
Well, ladies and gentlemen, it's finally here. The movie we've all been waiting for with bated breath. Our new lovable villains await our eager pens and keyboards and we impatiently wait for all the new fan content. 2/10 - VERY BAD (slightly less terrible, maybe there were one or two things you liked kept him/her from being a 1 but still very painful)

Finally comfortable enough with my ability to render Gyre that I can share a few profile sketches.
When your little sister is trying to convince you to do something weird... with her.
Sis: What? You don't think I can handle it? Hmm?
Bro: Don't. Tempt. Me.
When you finally agree to give it a try...
Sis: FOR REAL?!
The Aftermath:
I mentioned in my last post that this latest chapter (session 1.25) has been a pain to write. It has. Ignoring irl issues of course (heat, work, fatigue, illness) I've been grafting at the laptop to define the uncertainty in Calmys heart whilst also expanding on his outside life. In some ways, it's hard for me to imagine Calmy (cool, mostly confident, often in control) outside of his office. Even his home is fairly sterile, justifiably and with possible explanation in the future. Still, writing
