Though I couldn't See the Entire Movie...

I've seen just enough to say that this is probably gonna be the last Cars movie. Basically, this follows a bit of a "Batman Beyond formula," where like the Hudson Hornet (who passed away at this point), Lightning is slowly becoming a fossil of his own in light of faster vehicles topping at 210 miles per hour.

Just as I left for work, Lightning switches himself for his trainer, a newer model by the name Cruz, who throughout the film says she couldn't race when it's clear she just as well can.

Sounds like a character arc from a certain franchise we love

Still, this is what Cars 2 should've been; no secret agent cars in a car version of a Larry the Cable Guy movie, just a natural continuation from the first movie.

But boy has this evening been muggy...
