At this point in time, I have seen this twice, the second time with my parents on Mother's Day. What's written here covers my first thoughts when I first saw the movie on opening night.

In the late 2000's, following Disney's acquisition of Marvel and the initial run of the X-Men Trilogy and the two Fantastic Four Films, the time had come for a new entry in Marvel movies. The result was Iron Man. What the audience didn't expect that it is part of something bigger. The Incredible Hulk, Captain America, Thor, TV series such as Agents of Shield. While this reviewer hasn't seen all of the films (to this day, I still haven't seen Captain America: The Winter Soldier or the first Ant Man), I was able to piece together what's been going on. It led us to the first pinnacle of the Marvel Cinematic Universe: The Infinity Wars.

The impact it had on everyone last year, I was strongly considering this entry to be a softer epilogue; something that may make it and Godzilla neck and neck.

The Swan Song of at least a few of the actors in the MCU, and, definitely so, the last posthumous appearance of Stan Lee himself.
