So, this month has come to pass. And both "Bunny Blaze Phase" and "Monsters of Everfree" are doing quite well. On the other hand, I've left Hy-Vee. It's proven too exhausting to work two jobs at once. I am still looking to get another job to move to, one I could feel better appreciated for my work. I am getting more hours again at Petsmart, yes. But still, I feel that it's run its course and the time to move on is now.

My Swan Song has already five chapters complete; the first three chapters and the two possible endings. Once I finish the fourth chapter, I'm taking a break from writing it so I could at least write on chapter of the other multi-chapter stories I've planned. I might need some help with Adagio's rhyming story.

On the other hand, while I did say that my Swan Song is what it is, it might not be the last thing I write. There are still several ideas I have in my head. Considering that one of my characters is a child, what if I would explore some of the many shows this alternate universe aired? Butch Hartman did this twice with Fairly Odd Parents. These couldn't be published into Fimfiction itself, unless it would be a general fic site once the show is over. But what would be one idea I would explore.

One of them: a complete fix of "Transformers: Beast Machines." Just as I have done with the first Equestria Girls, there are several opportunities I could do to fix the rather mixed finale to Generation 1.

But let's start at the beginning. Let's assume that in the Jongojiverse, the Para-Hasbro, knowing of the success of the Season 1 of Beast Wars, gives Para-Mainframe more funding. Season 1 still goes through, but from Season 2 onwards, things go a little differently.

First would be Terrorsaur and Scorponok. In the actual show, they were killed off in the second premiere during the transwarp wave with only a passing notion from Blackarachnia. Here, instead, they survived, but contact with each other made them into a fuzor. However, I might draw further from this concept and give the fuzor a third vehicle mode kinda like this

The Terrorsaur side of him is no longer as agile in the air as Waspinator, but better at flying than Megatron's VTOL mode. However, even with a gunbarrel, the Scorponok side of him isn't as strong as Rampage a few episodes later... Far from it.

Second, and perhaps the most favorable idea I've seen whenever I type "what would make Beast Machines Better," is keeping Dinobot alive. Well, the clone at least... with the memories of the first one (Dark Glass, only in script format, Now a fan made radio drama, is produced in this universe.). The clones change is more gradual, however. Instead of him becoming Dinobot proper, Rampage's spark becoming whole again somewhat reincarnates the Hannibal Lector creature and so attacks Megatron on the Nemesis. He appears to be successful until the datatrax start overriding Rampage's. When Megatron's virus in the sequel series kicks off, what remains of Dinobot 2's/Rampage' original datatrax are gone forever, and thus Dinobot himself survived the Beast Wars, only now to participate in the madness on Cybertron.

But why not add Tigatron and Airrazor? Though in the show, their gestalt Tigerhawk gets destroyed, they do get revived in the comics, but only after their teammates leave with Megatron in tow. Considering Airrazor got a Transmetal toy, but not Tigatron, that could've been a good opportunity to add them to Beast Machines. Besides, along with Optimus and perhaps DB, they could easily master the stillpoint needed to transform.

How would the story play out in my version? Well, Season one is largely intact. Megatron is the main antagonist here, ruling over Cybertron while constantly trying to get rid of his beast mode. Aside from the additional characters (Terrosaur and Scorponok survive the wars, captured, and returned to their normal state by the virus upon returning home), there are quite a few differences.

Most notable of which is that Rhinox is still a good guy, not getting the sudden villain treatment we got in the actual show. However, he wouldn't get reformatted right away. Going through that "quiet chat" that was intended before Richard Newman (who, nowadays, you guys remember as Cranky) brought his performance, Rhinox tells Optimus that there might have been another player involved. And so, to find out whom, it would be best to remain as Tankor until he gets to the bottom of this. Not to worry, he doesn't get killed at the end of Season 1 and is promptly reformatted by the beginning of Season 2.

But who would be the very creature pulling the strings? Unfortunately for most of the survivors, it's a visage they wouldn't even dream of seeing again.

Tarantulas. Lieutenant Officer of Ravage, and probable relative of the Tripedacus Council. Trying to undergo about what he said to Tigerhawk,

The destruction of the Ark would only affect those descended from Autobot or Decepticon. But the Tripedacus Council and I have a different origin...

I have come to the conclusion that perhaps he/they would be Terrorcons donning the mantle of Predacon. Considering this takes place in the G1 (chronologically the latest), that would mean that they would be related/descended from Abominus (that is, Hun-Gurr, Rippersnapper, Blot, Sinnertwin, and Cutthroat). They didn't have much of an explanation in the original show, just that they were (probably) living in Unicron's head, so... Yeah.

Anyway, in the comics, Tarantulas gets revived by the Vok. And so, taking that into account, the aliens antagonists to the two factions would revive him for one reason. The space-time continuum may have been restored, but Megatron is still alive. And seeing that Tarantulas is an enemy to him, and with Tigerhawk being Tigatron and Airrazor once more, they revive the spider under those terms. He is also how Waspinator made it back to Cybertron. His failed attempts at slaying the trapped Megatron is how this nightmare started even started. Megatron was the first to comeback, then Tarantulas second (just when the drones became more numerous), then Waspinator (who became unconscious upon re-entry long enough to have his spark captured and subsequently placed into Thrust), then the Maximals finally.

He is more on the sidelines throughout Season 1, reprogramming Megatron's Diagnostic Drone, him being the one who brought up Silverbolt's guilt in the firsthand when his traitorous protege briefly awakened him and Waspinator's from their prisons, and ultimately, revealing the Key to Vector Sigma and the Plasma Energy Chamber.

The Season 1 finale onwards is where things start getting very different. Optimus is able to reformat Megatron before being zapped by the Key. His datatrax are restored (I'm putting up the reason that because he was so obsessed with ridding himself of his powerful beast mode in because of his exposure to whatever radiation of Transwarp space on his abridged way to Cybertron damaged his memory core), but now he's deprived of power, and has a harder time transforming than he has before, he would become more of a rogue. But when he does transform, he would resemble Predaking from TFP a decade later. He would eventually undergo another body for the final battle.

In a recent dream, I thought up a different origin regarding Noble: he would become them, not associated with Megatron whatsoever (the character was just the essence of Megatron's beast mode; how the wolf side came to be is never answered). Before being gassed by the virus, Tarantulas was working on an army of Terrorcons, but could only salvage two empty husks before he could make AI for them. In the chaos in Season 1, the two would gain artificial sparks of their own and, since these would have the internal DNA scanner Night Scream has, would scan the fossils. It would be slightly messy, however, as Noble would still have spikes throughout his body in robot and beast mode despite not being a dragon on the other side. While Noble is the smarter of the two, Savage is still the powder keg with a lit fuse; even his robot form (which resembles Arachnus from Metroid 2/Metroid Fusion) proves to be more of a challenge for even the Maximals. But before they were activated, Tarantulas left a little surprise in the technorganic werewolf.

In his place would be Tripedacus Council themselves, operating the Grand Mal. With a world largely deprived of other transformers, the council takes this opportunity to rule the planet as was intended. The entire arc of Season 2 would be that the Maximals stop the council from bringing over other relations to the Council while finding the sparks and bringing the technorganic over to Cybertron. But with Thrust being the only general following Silverbolt's return, the council brings over not only Obsidian and Strika, but also a few of those "retired Decepticons." One of them being the Constructicon Scavenger (a Vehicon under the same name is only a toy), but given his relative worthlessness besides being part of Devestator, Tarantulas would mutter, "Why didn't the Council bring back Scrapper?" The others would be the Combaticons; Obsidian might be a little uneasy, but Bruticus would prove to be quite a handful for them

Basically, here's a summary of the cast in this remake.

Protagonists/Antiheroes
Optimus Primal: Technorganic Gorilla
Cheetor: Technorganic Cheetah. The difference here is that he doesn't glide by combining his swords.
Blackarachnia: Technorganic Black Widow Spider.
Rattrap: Technorganic Rat. I would design his face to be like that of his Beast Wars self.
Rhinox: Technorganic Rhino. Is Tankor throughout Season 1, but gets reformatted at the end of the season 2 premiere. Basically the midpoint between Rattrap and Scorponok.
Silverbolt: Technorganic Hippogryph. Beast mode changed from his lackluster conder form to better distinguish himself from Airrazor and Noble (a bird and wolf respectfully)
Dinobot: Technorganic Velociraptor. Basically the best at swordsmanship, but still has his eye beams.
Tigatron: Technorganic Siberian Tiger. His primary weapon is a bo staff.
Airrazor: Technorganic Peregrine Falcon. The fastest of the flyers, and has perhaps the second most agile robot mode after Cheetor.
Terrosaur: Technorganic Pteranodon. Like Silverbolt, he cannot fly in robot mode, but his archery tools become something like BOTW Link's paraglider (more plausible than Cheetor's, thus the reason above).
Scorponok: Technorganic Black Scorpion. The direct opposite of Rattrap, he has weapons, but cannot hack into terminals like his Maximal rival.
Nightscream: Technorganic Horseshoe Bat. The only Maximal who could fly in robot and beast mode.
Noble: Technorganic Wolf. Doesn't have weapons in robot mode... If one doesn't count his massive claws.
Savage: Technorganic Wyvern. Also doesn't have weapons in robot mode, but can roll into a ball. Put in stasis lock after the season 2 episode "The Siege: Part 3."
Botanica: Technorganic Alien Plant.

Antagonists
Megatron: Technorganic dragon. Main antagonist of season 1, largely becomes a side villain throughout season 2 until he acquires a different body at the end of the series.
Tarantulas: Technorganic Wolf Spider (Despite his name, he resembles aforementioned creature more). Basically the most "techno" in technorganic. His robot form has actual guns.
The Tripedacus Council: The Grand Mal. The main antagonist of Season 2 until after the episode "The Siege Part 3."
Thrust: Cybertronian Motorcycle. Houses Waspinator's spark.
Tankor: Cybertronian Tank. Housed Rhinox' spark.
Jetstorm: Cybertronian Jet. Housed Silverbolt's spark.
Obsidian: Cybertronian VTOL.
Strika: Cybertronian Assault vehicle.
Scavenger: Cybertronian Excavator. The coward of the Constructicons.
Onslaught: Cybertronian "Jeep." Leader of the Combaticons, the torso of Bruticus.
Brawl: Cybertronian Tank (replacing Tankor). Left Leg and main core consciousness of Bruticus.
Vortex: Cybertronian helicopter. Left Arm of Bruticus.
Swindle: Cybertronian race vehicle. Right Leg of Bruticus.
Blast Off: Cybertronian Jet (replacing Jetstorm). Right Arm of Bruticus.
Astrotrain: Cybertronian Jet/Train.

Man this journal took a long while. See, I stopped midway for my dentist appointment before going to work. But yeah, that's all there is.
