Princess Celestia recently got the royal treatment in an op ed piece declaring that she was not a boring character. Well, I for one think that this notion is hilarious. Of course, she's not a boring character! The truth is, any character can be exciting, engaging or even interesting if handled properly. The problem with Princess Celestia is that she, for the most part, has been handled in a boring way.
I announce this study ahead of time and its protocol so that nopony can claim that I manipulate P-Values. A little context:
I am vocal that Abrams care nothing about continuity. Just look at what he did to Star Trek; he made Stino (Star-Trek-In-Name-Only). I was vocal about not wanting to see Swino (Star-Wars-In-Name-Only). Several ponies pointed out that I should not bash a movie without seeing it. Since they have a point, I shall see it.
I finally decided to add an actual honest to goodness icon to my page and here he is. Folks I give you the Klaus Nomi pony. Now I know that some of you do not know who Klaus Nomi was. But fear not, for you are not alone, the artist didn't know who he was either. Therefore I figure some background is necessary.

Have you ever heard a question that was idiotic from someone that should know better? I'm sure we've all been there. You and a few folks possibly good friends are sitting around. Maybe you've had a couple. Maybe the game is on or you're playing a game of some sort. Then from out of nowhere someone asks that question. Everything grinds to a halt and one or more of you have to explain to the questioner the answer.

As I'm sure many of you have already heard, and what we have expected since the leaks, it is confirmed that S9 will be the last season of MLP: Friendship is Magic. No doubt people are spooked by this news.
Is there a way I can delete various recommendations from things like say Netflix or Youtube? Oh, they say that these suggestions or whatever they are are based upon what I or somebody watches. They say it's fed into some algorithm to "enhance" my experience. Well, if irritate and outright creep me out are what you were going for mission accomplished.

Other people start telling me this stuff too. They say things like, "You're not interested in ... fill in whatever it was I was apparently interested here,"or, "You don't care about things anymore."
Don't know why, but I'm just in a dark place right now.
