It's no secret that I haven't submitted a new fic or updated my old ones in quite some time. There are several reasons for this, which I will talk about first, and then I will preview all the works I'm currently working on.
Okay everyone, I feel like I should explain the recent delays on "Human After All." First, I apologize profusely for the inconsistency with updates. With The Iron Horse, I tried and mostly succeeded at getting a new chapter out every two weeks. I feel really bad to keep you all waiting for chapters, but I do have my reasons. If you want to know them, keep reading after the break.
So yeah, occasionally I have these little thought experiments about the characters and try to answer a few questions about them that the show either hasn't answered or clearly has no intentions of answering. I figured I'd share some.
Sunset Shimmer
Age: 16-17 (in human years), 22-25 (in pony years)
So, as I mentioned in my last blog, I try to keep my fics within the canonicity of the show as much as possible (with the exception of AU stories which, naturally, can tell canon to take a flying leap). I still try to hold to that, which means, periodically, I work out a timeline of events for current and upcoming stories. We're gonna focus on Equestria Girls here, since that will be the majority of the stores I'll be writing for the foreseeable future.

Today was the debut of an Equestria Girls special, "Forgotten Friendship", in which the Humane Six have somehow forgotten everything good that Sunset Shimmer has ever done. Sunset, not sure what was going on, asks Princess Twilight if they were still friends and if she was nice. Twilight affirms this, and Sunset travels to Equestria. Twilight tells her that there's one pony who would know. Sunset asks who, and then makes a realization.

Today I would like to talk about a theory about the 7th element of harmony and the bearers in both the mlp world and the Equestria Girls world.
So first off I think the 7th element would represent redemption because on Sunset Shimmers character page on the equestria girls website it says that what she stands for is redemption. Its the same with the other characters as well like Applejack stands for Honesty, Pinkie Pie stands for laughter and so on.
Unfortunately everyone, in the new story that me & Artistkun wrote called GAY PANIC, there is a huge scene missing during the interaction between Princess Twilight and the rainbooms, before her encounter with human sunset.

I'm sure this open love letter for Sunset Shimmer is the first of many, as she is my current infatuation and I can't stop thinking about her. Aside from being hot, adorable, and having a large repertoire of facial expressions, it's how sincere she is that sells me by the end of Rainbow Rocks.
For the record, yes, I AM working on my stories everyone. Just hit a snag in life and am pulling myself out of a hole. Its nothing as bad as what I've been through before but after this its smooth sailing once more. I'm working my way through interpreting Past Sins into my universe. Its challenging, what with so many differences, but I really want this to work out and I have so much more planned to go with it.

I'm writing a new story, a short one as usual, and this time I'm actually pretty confident I'll release it in the same year I've announced it. It's nothing big, just a quick story featuring out favorite pony-turned-human Sunnybun. Seriously, I love Sunset Shimmer, and I need to show some of my headcanon. I highly suggest you watch the Equestria Girls special 'Display of Affection,' before reading this story.
