It's Friday afternoon, we're going to hit the weekend lull soon, and Bad Horse is out of town, so for a few blissful days I don't have to pretend to be literary. 
So let's get some idle chatter started! This one's inspired by an offhand comment over in ScarletWeather's blog:
Oh boy, this is a real doozie that I'm stepping into here. This is one of the most love/hated animes in recent years, and the opinions are just that: you love it or you hate it.
Now, keep in mind that I'm not here to bash you for liking it. If you do, that's fine. My goal here is to shed some light on some SERIOUS issues that the anime has, and I want you to take them into consideration when you watch it (which means you don't listen to me).

Do you have an OPINION? Very likely. Does anyone else actually CARE about it?? ... unlikely. Is that fair? No, but on some RARE occasions there ARE folks who actually DO want to hear your thoughts on certain topics, and they offer you the chance to VOICE them without fear of scorn or ridicule!
... because this week is not off to a promising start...
So "today" being Friday (yes, I'm aware it's after midnight and technically that means it's Saturday now), it was the first day of my work 'week', so let's just pretend it was Monday for me... In typical Monday fashion, things went horribly awry in pretty much every way possible.
I have finished the rough draft of Learning Curve Chapter 4, so I have a little time on my hands. In that, I will be entering into a contest.
Here's hoping this won't be like "One More Dance". Wish me luck, guys! 
Normally, I don't criticize the work of other authors here on Fimfiction because I know how utterly horrible I was in the beginning and how much more I have to learn. Sometimes though, I have to vent or my head will pop off my shoulders. This was directed to a story, now deleted, by an author, who is now banned. At least temporarily. The author had eaten a 24hr ban before this apparently for the same story, which they supposedly re-submitted with no edits. Big surprise it got punted again.

I think RaraRara would be cute, but I'm having a hard time coming up with a conflict to drive their story. They're the kind of couple where their biggest problem would probably be that thier demanding, mostly unrelated careers would keep them from spending time together. Which is a thing, but not a very exciting thing. Unless
I think my next thing will be a FlutterDash story, and since I write them both as kind of self-destructive, finding conflict in that should be a breeze.
In Mykan's Canon, the old Equestria was destroyed along with the planet it was on.....and written badly.
As it is known, The Canon name for the planet Equestria is on is Equus (at lest the Pony name for the world is that), but when Mykan wrote his Starfleet Magic Stories, he thought the whole world was Equestria so he blew up the whole planet. This is not only terrible writing but a stupid idea.
And I know you love sharing your opinions too.

A little outdated, given that the event described happened last night as opposed to today, but here goes.
Last night, I was playing Rome; Total War on multiplayer and got in a game with three other people, a 2 player vs. 2 player situation (SPQR/Roman Senate ally and me as Macedon vs. Thrace and Egypt). I thought it was going to be a great game.
On the surface, the battle was a major win; the other guys were totally crushed.
The problem lay with my ally.

Seriously though. now that I've finally finished my P.D.P synopsis -- eight LONG blogposts over nine days -- I want to get on to something a lot more fun. Stuff that's "So Bad It's Good". Follow me past the jump!
Another ACF camp today, Annual this time. This is the big one. I'll be gone a full ten days for this one, so don't expect me back at a moment's notice. And when I do I'll be absolutely knackered, so no updates either. And on top of that I may be getting a job three days after which will decrease my writing time even more.
But I think a day job would drive me to write more often so I can relax. So I'll still be trying to get updates in after the camp is up.
