okay, I feel like an ass for dropping it on you, but I might need to delete a couple chapters and retcon stuff since right now whatever plan I had for this story doesn't seem to be what people want.

Edit: Rewrite now live!

Fillies and Gentlecolts, I am happy to announce that the Chapter One rewrite will soon be completed, not only doubling the wordcount, but adding a lot more depth to the inciting events of the story. In fact, the chapter has changed so much--namely in the removal of the older sisters framing device--that it is being renamed from "A Story Two-thousand Years in the Making" to "A Wizard's Duty"!

I am going to start over from scratch, I am not happy with it, Rainbow was out of character and it was going to fast. As such I will start over, but While I will start writing, I am not deleting the old version until I know I can delete it and submit the new version. If I can not delete it, I will delete the chapters and put in the new ones.

So, yeah, remember that one scene I had to finish in the last update? Well, I ended up rewriting that scene about five times, and literally just finished it last night.

The first was an AU focusing on Rarity, Rainbow, and AJ traveling through foreign lands to get a plant to cure a disease in Twilight's magic that is lethal if not treated. There were hornblades and other things. Its been a while since I've read it, so that's all I really remember.
