IMPORTANT WARNING: They Grow Up... · 3:25am Jan 6th, 2017

They Grow Up...

What a lovely old story that was. And, in light of recent events, it's time to pick back up on it.

Or is it?

My style has changed a great deal since then, as well as the plot of the world has grown since then. I mean, Sunset Shimmer actually HAS a character now. So... I'm led to wonder...

Do I continue it... Or do I rewrite it?

What do you think? Is it old enough to get a complete re-write? Or do you think it's fine to just add back onto it and follow the current plot?

If I rewrote it, the plot wouldn't change too much; just make it flow differently and condense some scenes for convenience.

But, what do you think?

I think it's best you continue as intended. But that's just me

I'm a little biased, but I say rewrite. Just because it's been like 3 years since you've updated it. But don't take my opinion to seriously. (Because I haven't read it yet so I'm not the best person to ask) if you do end up rewriting I will read for sure!

From the sound of it, I'd say a rewrite would be best. Otherwise you'll constantly be tripping over old decisions that no longer apply, getting frustrated with the story, and eventually might get sick of it and all the complaints unintended plotholes would spawn.

I would say do a rewrite

I say continue it, but that's just because I've never understood the need to make fanfics fit with the cannon of the world they're based in. As a burnt-faced slasher once said, "It's your world, but it's my rules."

4373173 I mean my own canon. Lol

4373654 Oooohhhh, well I feel silly. lol In that case, I'm still saying continue as is, but once again, that's just me.
