Hiya. Goodness, my last update was back in October? Sorry for the silence, I've been busy with work and stuff, and since December I've been stuck playing Satisfactory, which uh, I got a little addicted too. Only 500 hours, nothin major... Right?
So, I made it. Thanks guys for being supportive. So, I'm making my own practice beat, and as soon as SoundCloud finishes downloading (yes, I'm on a shiny new tablet, thanks dad!

Ho, boy, was this a long time coming.
I'd apologize for the wait, but the few of you that stuck around are probably sick of my endless winging about how I most definitely will get back to work and hopefully post something in the near future, but the truth is, it has been a bit difficult for me on that front.
When I have a problem or a worry, when stressed, agitated or sullen, I get it off my chest with my family and friends at home.
And online, I do my best to tell people things are okay, to look on the bright side and to treat each other right.

Since a new chapter for "Grief is the Price We Pay" isn't getting uploaded today like normal, I've decided to go ahead and upload a new and edited version of the latest chapter, "Degree of Trust," which I've done in working to improve a few prose-quality related issues it bore, most especially in the first parts of the chapter, adding an additional 1,089 words in the process. So even though I only really got into writing or drawing pony back when S9 was airing, I've actually been into it for a really long time. I even still have a few old ponies from back when I was a kid, sitting around in various places. Decided to dig them out, and these two in particular were... Well, rough. They're both over 15 years old, and were given to my sister and I as children, so they're obviously well played with. So I decided some cleaning was in order.
I was wrong. Things got worse. Things got much worse.
My bosses decided that I was making too much per hour for the work I'm assigned to do (grunt work). In other words, I was overqualified, and they brought in cheaper help from below me. After said help was trained and their collars fitted, they saw fit to lower my wage by over five-hundred dollars less per month.
I cannot keep my apartment on such a change.

Just taking a few days for myself, taking a well-needed writing break. I've been doing a fair bit of writing the past few weeks, so yeah, I just needed some me-time to recoup and recharge the writing batteries.
So hey all of you. I don't know if you all know but I started a new story because I felt I had moved past where I was on my previous work here. In many ways I have but most importantly was my mentality. I feel in someways a different person than what I was a year ago. I hope my writing has improved, which I know it has but how much is so difficult to say, but more importantly is things are looking up for me in my life outside of writing. Which is kinda funny coming from a person who just spent
I just realised I haven't actually blogged about this, but I'm going to be at Bronycon this year! Legitimately can't wait to meet everyone there and hang around with folks in meatspace for the first time (and maybe some for the second??)
As I've mentioned on occasion, I am a teacher, and this year has left me too busy to do as much on FiMfiction as I wanted to. But Summer Vacation is starting soon, and I want to spend it writing, and that means MORE STORIES! That's the gist of things, but check below the break for more details!
