So, day three began with quite a rush for me. I got up at 7am sharp and jumped through my morning routine to meet outside the convention at 0800 to prep our panel. We ended up doing our panel a little late, starting it at 9:15am. We had a pretty decent showing and got a lot of good participation, laughs, and just a bit of shameless self promotion. On February 19, my wife’s car died. After a long, drawn-out process, we finally got it to the mechanic’s shop, only to find it was far beyond repair. The timing belt had broken, ripping up the inside of the engine. The entire engine block needed to be replaced, which would cost $1400.
