Currently in the aftermath of setting my grandmother to rest, in her home with friends and family looking at pictures of her life.

Things have been... hard recently.

On October 12^th, 2022, everything changed. My Dadi (my father’s mother, as said in Urdu) had a dizziness spell and fell outside her house. She broke her femur and lay on the ground, in pain and unable to move. She is 79.

Most of my readers are probably wondering just where this one-shot is and the new chapter of 'A Cold Wind Blows' as well. And, to be frank, I haven't worked on the stories at all since about a week ago today. You see, my grandmother (aged 62) passed away on the 27th of May, and I haven't been coping with the loss well at all. Because of this I am tired and a little bit worn out. However, don't worry the Smiling Stallion will be released in time for Nightmare Night (October 31st) and I am hoping to release a youtube trailer for that soon.

So my family and I went to see Grandma today and her health has improved a lot. She was actually able to get out of her wheel chair and move herself to her bed (she had some help of course but at least she was able to do it without feeling any pain). She even had a slice of lemon cream pie.

Goals for Story
So I am hoping to have at least four chapters done by October. With the help of my proofreaders, editors and friends this should work out I think.

It took me a while to realize that Nailah was requesting help to pay for an emergency trip to see a dying grandmother, because they're subtle about asking for help for avoidance of imposing on others.
