I want to make one thing clear: this blog has been dramatized for ease of reading, and some scenes are shown in non-chronological order so that it all flows better. Everything written here is real, though. The dialogue is mostly literal to the best of my ability and memory. This all happened.

And welcome to another day in the month of MYKANUARY!
Last week, we covered a highly controversial subject with one of the more famous franchises that Mykan has been a part of. This week… is not going to be one of them.
Where we last left off, the contestants were turned back into children and were sent back to high school as freshmen. All except one; Nova Blaze. Here, the five children reenact The Breakfast Club.
The freshman sat in silence as they all sat rigid in their seats. The “detention room” was empty, save for them, and was all too quiet in general. The noise was broken quickly as the sound of squeaking shoes could be heard coming towards them.
This is something different than what I usually talk about. And it is related solely to one thing and one thing alone...writing. There isn't any easy way to begin this. So I'm just going to dive right in...there are issues in writing, issues pertaining to the real world, that are of immense import on varying levels. Some of them are important because they affect us every day. Some of them are important because whilst they rarely happen or never HAVE happened yet, they CAN happen and should be
Been meaning to can this one for a while, because almost two years after the last update, I have very, very, very little interest in ever picking it up again. It was sort of a fun idea when I started, but I've kind of soured on superhero stuff in general since then. As such, Rest in Peace, Magic Comic Task Force.
I don't have even the first sentence of the next chapter to share (never started), so here are the notes.

Critique: One thing to note about this story before we begin is that the story has to warn us that the author doesn’t condone the actions and that if any author has murderous impulses to seek help.
Fife: Gotta be a responsible author, I guess. “In this story, Fluttershy explodes twice. I do not condone exploding. If you feel like you’re going to explode, it sucks to be you.”

So, thisis just sitting on my google drive. I was originally going to add this into Man in a Pony’s World as a bonus chapter, but maybe i’ll tack it on as a sequel? i just haven’t finished it, and started not wanting to when i realized how unimportant this is to the rest of the story as a whole. would y’all like to see this completed and added on as a sequel or a bonus chapter?

It had been a while since Golden had gotten a good night’s rest. His worry over the meeting was overshadowed by the happiness he felt for his team’s victory. Despite his joy or rather because of it when they returned to the mansion he went straight to his room for rest. He assumed his teammates did the same.
You know, I could make so many jokes and just go full narcissist on you guys. I could spend the whole blog making comments like "Oh that's cute, someone tried to make Long Road to Friendship into a movie" or "Long Road to Friendship is the story Rainbow Rocks wishes it was." But, I fear karma, so I'll keep my narcissistic jokes to a bare minimum.
You realize you're like a month late with this, right?
I've been back at home for about three hours now. :) Just finished writing this up, so I'm posting it. Note that I wrote up each day after it had happened, then went back and maybe added some stuff in I forgot, so the timelines might be weird. Okay? Okay, let's go.
